Abdullah Interviews Jassim AlNasrallah

A thing that pleases me a lot is being a bridge that communicates creative forces found in Kuwait to the masses in town and the rest of the world. What pleases me most, however is finding people who find joy in what they do. A rare finding these days, not just the passion flowing out of them, but the state of mind and auto-high-toxins-free-self-motivating individuality they strive for. A blessing indeed.

I believe that Jassim Al-Nasrallah is the perfect example for that. At the tender age of  only 25, his artistry reached Europe, Japan and many Arab countries. He is a modern day Calligrapher who dived deep into the ocean of Arabia, back to its islamic roots where different writing styles came to life, mixed it with a modern twist and made it readable & accessible by all.

Artistically speaking, I find him close to a universal islamic-arts ambassador to the world. He is so attached to his arabic roots that he insisted on making this interview rush to p0ach readers in an all arabic font – This is the first ARABIC INTERVIEW on p0ach.com.

There is alot to learn about Jassim and loads of photos he’d love to share with you all.

Abdullah Interviews Bader AlBanna

Its really hard to find interview candidates for you guys these days. With the help of friends here and there, I am blessed to find those young spirits who make a change in their own unique way.

Ever since I started this blog, I promised myself to spread everything great I find, hear-about or come across in K-town & I am doing just that right now by Introducing you to this week’s funky fresh guest.

Definitely positive you have heard about Circuit Plus, the gym. Any Organization no matter how big or small, stands on those who make things happen over there. Bader Al Banna, a single 24 years young gentleman does just that. A trainer who’ll make you scream him name out loud (as I heard by those hard core fans of the gym) interested in nutrition, well being and hey ! an engineer too. Talk about science meets passion eh ? the ultimate fusion.

I wont spoil the fun, would love for you to read more about him, what he does and the gym he calls home.

Please meet Bader – show him lots of love & support !

Abdullah Interviews Rakan & Badder AlGhanim

A friend of mine, Hussain Al-Essa typed a really well written sophisticated intro for One Paint, I couldn’t argue with him, not one bit:

“The first thing you need to get your creative juices flowing is leg room. Some of you go out for a change of scenery but how about changing your environment to welcome random solutions and to organize your thoughts? No I am not talking a notepad or a sketchbook. Try a whole wall.

A message kids have been telling us with their crayons on creativity. After recently installing Idea Paint on my home office wall, I do love the freedom to both brainstorm and stay organized. Idea Paint is a paint that turns your wall into a whiteboard, just grab your marker and start mind mapping your upcoming projects.  Suitable for home, work and school, the more space you have for your ideas the more good ideas you end up with. A solution for productivity, Idea Paint just might keep you away from the mundane. Urban Q8 recommends this product.”

That was one of of the many recommendations I came across on auntie google, don’t believe me, just google ONEPAINT yourselves and check the results.

Very happy to have Mr.Rakan & Badder AlGhanim both on board with us on p0ach.com where they’ll highlight info about the product, themselves and bits from here and there.

You know how we do it over here, we go light all the way.

Abdullah Interviews Thuraya Lynn

Having an honest artist that combines humor, inner beauty and is actually humble is thoroughly fresh to me.

Kills me how Kuwaiti talents are wholeheartedly welcome outside the borders of this country, how minimum media attention they get in here, don’t believe me ? Just google her name, find her presence on multiple art platforms from around the world.

A team mate at work knows how much I appreciate asian/japanese related art, he’s an artist himself, showed me Thuraya’s work and I immediately fell in love. Thuraya’s brush strokes were clean, innocent and honest. Sent her an email instantly.

Its beautiful how diverse and multi talented this little country of our is.

Go ahead, get to know Thuraya Lynn

Abdullah Interviews Farah Al-Humaidhi

“Action is the foundational key to all success” Picasso

Many are fueled with ambition, passion and an S that screams “strive” for success or a chance in life. Not fortunate enough to try throwing out what they have with in.

Definitely not the case with the gorgeous Farah Al-Humaidhi. A young, self motivated entrepreneur, has an interest in eye pleasing colors, modernism and a leap towards global recognition.

A few weeks back, she held an exhibition showcasing her take on furniture, titled simply “Pieces”. The demand was great and she had to rebook the place for one more day.

On a personal note, nothing pleases me more than when Kuwaitis use built in gifts, mix and match it with studies, inspiration and finally combined with a lot of personality.

Please click away, have a glimpse at Farah’s work, aim for an inspiration and a change in mind set.

Know Farah more !

Abdullah Interviews Dana Al-Nafisi

Everytime my senses are blessed with artistic exposure, all I think of is sharing that vision with everyone else.

A few months back we were honored to highlight some of Dana Al-Nafisi’s fine jewelry line on p0ach.com – I remember how women in my life were discussing how beautiful her pieces were, intricate, sophisticated, gold platted with  a hint of indian royalty. They urged me to have the beautifully talented Dana on p0ach’s front page. Glad I did.

Humans are wrapped with layers and layers of goodness. Dana may be a fascinating young woman with a beautiful presence, however her soul matches that and more. Inner beauty reaches its maximum level when talent & passion are mixed to serve humanity. She did that with her charitable efforts through the sales of her products.

Thats a small glimpse into Dana’s life.

Please go ahead, have a look at today’s interview, get to know Dana more.

Abdullah Interviews Hala Abu AlHassan

This friday’s been very kind to me so far. I don’t know about you folks, but I sense things around me and let me just say, this friday is beautiful.

Speaking of beauty, we have the gorgeous, down to earth, glama princess and fashionista, Hala Abu Al Hassan. A fierce social media muse, a wife, blogger and self motivated fashion designer. I may add, funny, outspoken and free spirited.

First met her at Zain’s headquarters for a meeting I had with the boys over there, we exchanged hellos and goodbyes with a formal tone. Her personality really came through when we met again at a big social event a few months ago. We talked about EVERYthing. She now calls me a Janet freak, with good reason though, HAH! We talked about her experience, work, fashion journey, how and where should she pursue her dreams, with a very small recommendation from my side.

Gathered a nice set of pictures from her latest Ramadan-y collection, she states that this collection is different, vibrant and blazes a trend of its own. Cant wait for you guys to see it.

I know many young women who run a business or two. To me, if you have a job, a husband and lord knows what kind of social and personal commitments, and still CREATE a space to do what you love, then you are honestly a live, soulfully. You, my dear, are doing what your soul wants you to do.Many spiritual seekers call it “Spiritual fulfillment”, most people don’t know what that is. Look it up, try to align yourself with whatever makes your dreams come true. Its a truly beautiful achievement.

Hala has it.

Want to know what she has in store for you ?

Read on !
