The hype was overwhelming for me to go through and jump on the band wagon.
In case you didnt know PALEO is the new “IT” diet/life-style/food plan to run by.
Tried it for a couple of days a month back and its perfect. ***HERE COMES THE EXCUSE*** I was busy, really busy and had to manage stuff at work, outside work, family stuff then my stuff so I thought “ok, let me just break this down – finish what I have in hand then jump back on the Wagon” – so umm yeah. thats it. HAH!
Usually, i’d say why I like this book and stuff, but mis NOM NOM Paleo – who I bought her app – made a very nice run-through on the book and she couldnet have covered it any better.

About 3 weeks ago, a friend of mine suggested I grab this book and give it a go.
She knows I had enough of weight gain – Hah! – so she insisted i read it.
Without a doubt – its the best Diet – or should I say – life style shifts I came across – EVER.
Just to keep it short and simple and maybe wow you with results – I dropped a whopping 5.9 KG in 13 days – that's less than 2 weeks – literally!
Why did I like the book ? How come I finished reading it from cover to cover so fast?
Aside from the sense it makes, Robb, the author's way of writing is witty – easy to comprehend and he makes HUGE scientific points about digestion, food, lifestyle, how we react & how we think So easy to swallow.
Loved loved loved loved the part where he explained what hormones like Leptin do – Insulin affect – Cortisol – and so forth. If anyone said these things to me I would have shunned them out cuz they couldn't have explained it or made it as easy as Robb did.
This is not a freakin system that is built on Will power – will power fades, lord knows I know that for a fact. This is an educational process that makes sense and automatically makes you go on with Smart choices.
I love it and everything about it – a beautiful system that just works – WOOOH!
I will be talking ALOT about this – I'm just an armature in this new lifestyle solution – the more I learn new stuff, the more I'll share – what I can't wait to share though is my success story – I see it – I know I'll get there – time is just blocking me – temporarily.
Please do not look for this book in Ktown – do not waste your time or energy – hit the iBooks Store on your iPad and read it ASAP.
Maybe in denial the whole time – or was just busy ? Whatever it is, received “the talk” from my parents.
“Baby I guess you got over productive ? Maybe its time you put the gym, trainer and diet back on track ?”
HAH! mum is so sweet, thats her way of saying that I am in no way, shape or form ready for summer. She said more stuff, dad too but umm, its not necessary – not really. Promised them to do something about it.
If I’m doing something about it – it’ll rub off on you guys – so you better help me too.
Have a plan to travel to warm places in a couple of months with friends so i’d better be equipped with a “beach ready” physique. Now I know my nose is greek, better mix n match my body with it. HAH!
Honestly though – you’ll see lots of health related posts, will steal a lot of things from my friend @TheDietNinja and my trainer too. I’ll post pics of what I’m eating – Workout sessions – sport gears – supplements and maybe – just maybe – a before and after MUG shot *Not happening – but maybe* – Jumps off a building.
The pic indicates clearly that I’m going for a low carb diet. The key word here is low and not NO carb.
Will try – if time and I became good good friends – to make sharing my success story fun, easy and doable by all.
**Psstt** In order for me to succeed I have to do some neuroscience magic – thats why I’m reading “Buddha’s Brain” it helped me connect some missing dots here and there – now I’m applying it to embrace positive lifestyle changes. Lets see how that goes.
