A dear friend of mine, Yousef, is up with new tricks yet again.
Those who worked with him call him a “Sweet Heart”, giving, caring yet my favorite is “Creative”. and Creative he is.
The man with genius genes is up with something new this time, its a tease, he wont reveal his work just yet, BUT wants to tell those who know him “I have something cooking, will be ready in a month’s time with a brand new website”
He is venturing into:
Interior/Booth/Project design. (Already Booked)
Gifts Guru, from the actual gift to the wrapping fantasia. (Amazing Work)
New U5F line of T-Shirts. (Purely made by him even the t-shirt itself rather than outsourcing. This means more hands on with cuts and designs)
His work was showcased in some of the past exhibition around kuwait.
This is today’s tease for you guys, will let you know all about the actual work when its out.
“u5f not just a t-shirt anymore…. keep an eye for his next creation”

This vortex-shaped, temporary outdoor installation in the Los Angeles exhibition space of Materials & Applications, warped the flow of space with a featherweight rendition of a celestial black hole.

Hovering over a courtyard, it was a spectacle the size of an apartment building constructed in tinted Mylar resembling stained glass. The piece functioned as a shade structure, swirling overhead for the entire summer.

The interior of this immersive experimental installation created a beckoning outdoor room for social interaction and contemplation by changing the space, color, and sound of the courtyard gallery.

During the day as the sun passed overhead, the canopy cast colored fractal light patterns onto the ground while a tranquil subsonic drone from the integrated ambient sound installation by composer James Lumb entitled “Resonant Amplified Vortex Emitter” lightly rumbled below the feet of the viewer.

When standing in the center or “singularity” of the piece and gazing upward, the visitor could see only infinite sky.

In the evening when viewed from the exterior, the vortex glowed warmly while both obscuring and allowing glimpses of the building behind it.

Cornwall. Bruce Munro’s iconic ‘Field of Light’ sculpture is installed at the Eden Project (Architect: Sir Nicholas Grimshaw) in Cornwall. The piece can now be seen on the sloping grass roof of the visitors centre, called the Link building, between the famous Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes, and will remain there until Spring 2009. Bruce Munro and five assistants worked over three days to install ‘Field of Light’ at the Eden Project. It is made of 6,000 acrylic stems, through which fibre optic cables run, each crowned with a clear glass sphere. There are 11 external projectors; the stems themselves hold no electric power at all. The installation covers an area of 60 x 20 meters, using 24, 000 meters of fibre optic cable.
