Abdullah Interviews Jassim AlNasrallah

A thing that pleases me a lot is being a bridge that communicates creative forces found in Kuwait to the masses in town and the rest of the world. What pleases me most, however is finding people who find joy in what they do. A rare finding these days, not just the passion flowing out of them, but the state of mind and auto-high-toxins-free-self-motivating individuality they strive for. A blessing indeed.

I believe that Jassim Al-Nasrallah is the perfect example for that. At the tender age of  only 25, his artistry reached Europe, Japan and many Arab countries. He is a modern day Calligrapher who dived deep into the ocean of Arabia, back to its islamic roots where different writing styles came to life, mixed it with a modern twist and made it readable & accessible by all.

Artistically speaking, I find him close to a universal islamic-arts ambassador to the world. He is so attached to his arabic roots that he insisted on making this interview rush to p0ach readers in an all arabic font – This is the first ARABIC INTERVIEW on p0ach.com.

There is alot to learn about Jassim and loads of photos he’d love to share with you all.

Abdullah Interviews Ala’a Hayat

One of the many places I go to whenever I think of renovation, recreate, overlay and design, I rush to sun city, shuwaikh. I bet most of you do too.

I don’t know if its the location, store size or colors that call me in, but Artecasa is one of those iconic stores you can’t miss. Notorious for its posh and upscale edge, jump right in and it’ll rub on you. Truly beautiful elements aligned together in one space.

Very pleased to have Mr.Ala’a Hayat here, owner of Arte Casa on p0ach.com

“From the very start, Arte Casa has established itself as a renowned retailer, known for its quality, its craftsmanship and its customer service.

Dreaming of a space synonymous with sleek stylish living, Ala’a Hayat established Arte Casa is 1994.  He wanted to offer classical and trendy products to help create a comfortable and enjoyable personalized space for people in Kuwait.

Today, Arte Casa remains a premier retailer, recognized for its international designer collections, and helped by its expertly edited assortment of wall and floor coverings, sanitary-ware,  wellness products and architectural lighting”

Its very interesting how random, yet important their clients are. A look at some:

  • Al-Fanar Complex
  • Amiri Diwan
  • Bayan Palace
  • Kuwait Society For Handicapped
  • The Sultan Center
  • The Scientific Center
  • Seif Palace
  • Porsche Showroom
  • Al- Sayer
  • K.N.P.C Projects
  • Al-Awadi Complex

Ofcourse, there is more to read and explore. Have a go on some quick glimpses into Mr.Ala’a's career, his business and future vision.

Abdullah Interviews Dana Al-Ghanim

“Wow, these pics are great, who took’em ?” I kept asking the first time I laid eyes on the wonderfully talented & “B”eautiful Miss Dana Al-Ghanim’s pictures. A few days later I received an email from a friend telling me about her & the exhibition she held “wild eyes”. I smiled and kept my mouth zipped. Kuwait is so tiny and people are extremely meshed and mashed all together.

Aside from her talent as a photographer, courage and photogenic-fit-for-a-fashion-magazine-cover-full-10-page-spread, was her honesty. You’ll read her answers and feel you’v known her years ago. She opens up about her childhood, current state of mind and future vision, all of that and she’s still 17 years young.

Why am I excited about this ? Well, if you are that young, a woman, in a male dominated society, holding your own exhibition, bold enough to say YES thats my creation in a calm but an in your face attitude, what do you want me to expect of her and young women like her when they reach 27? These young people are success formulas, only the wise will comprehend.

This is where a salute comes to the parents, I call them the hit makers, they brought in to that young girl’s soul a seed called “I BELIVE IN YOU” “I trust you” “Yes, you are talented”, you can only imagine what the outcome will look like. Better yet, stop imagining and look at this live example, look at Dana.

Some say tell me what cologne you wear and i’ll predict your personality. With Dana, a glimpse of her photos gives you a full understanding of what she is. Full of life, hope and definitely a fearless spirit.

Abdullah Interviews Mohammed Al-Dhubaib

Interviews are back, had a nice break from hosting’em since you lovelies been out and about on vacation galore.

Back in january 2010, Mohammed Al-Dhubaib & his cousin invited me to sink my teeth in their sicilian cuisine creation, Melenzane. I did, I reviewed it and the crowd went WAW.

However, due to construction delays surrounding the restaurant, all they could offer was a low key, call before you come, welcome. Trust that the owners wanted everyone to rush in, have a great time and just enjoy the atmosphere that screamed “escapism”.

I’v always seen Mohammed socializing with people I knew from time to time, never had the chance to properly introduce myself. When we met, all it took was 10 minutes, then I felt home. Like I knew the guy from ages. Very open, sincere, down to earth, grounded, super polite and very very funny yet attentive.

I remember while we were sitting, I grabbed Mohammed on the side and I slowly said “so how did all of this come together ?” I was referring to the whole project. He gave me the proud father face and said ” You really wana know ? really ? Its a long story, I don’t want to bore you” I said, shoot, but gimme some sweet sweet dessert and coffee coffee so I can fo focus with you. I was still in a daze after all the eye pleasing, stomach feeding, heart warming servings of excellence we got.

As he was telling the story, I was in shock. The idea of quitting your job, keeping a secret from your family for the longest time, not having a steady income, living in fear, ignoring everyone and everything because you believe in a dream that you may or may not create is beyond what anyone can bare. I was in shock and you, dear readers, wont understand why until you read about it below. I don’t want to spoil the fun but i’ll say this as a direct message to Mohammed :

“I am so proud of you, your story is full of courage, commitment and clarity, you did what most men claim they can but didn’t – keep your head high, you have my full support, love and appreciation.”

Lots of things were said, I prefer you read them from Mohammed directly.

Abdullah Interviews Ahmad Al-Awadi

“I want that young film maker, the guy who did ADS with all that 3D animation mess, I want him on p0ach.com, i want people to see him, specially big companies” Thats what I casually said the other day to one of my colleagues. I swear to you, this country is so small, minutes later, my friend came back and said hey, I know how to get him for you. The rest is history.

Ahmad, is a dime. He was one of the people who worked on the iMax excellent piece “Journey To Mecca” that was showing in Kuwait’s Scientific centre, Perfection. This is where he turned his interest/hobby into a professional career, earned a diploma in 3D animation, got invited to visit PIXAR studios for an all around tour, met with the brightest people, learned all he could, brought it back with him to only grow bigger and better.

He’s extremely polite, down to earth, smart and passionate about what he does. Get to know him, meet AHMAD !

Abdullah Interviews Altaaf & Amal Al-Thunayan

You know whats rare ? In my book what’s rare is to have brains, beauty and bold moves communicating your inner existence to the world.

Thats how I see my guests Altaaf & Amal, two wonderful sisters led different paths professionally, swam in the ocean of art, fashion, business, entrepreneurship and emerged with a brand of their own with the highest most prestigious levels of service, they call it a service thats worth 24 Karats of Gold.

Altaaf and Amal run a hawt ‘n’ steamy business, the 2024K Nail Spa, the design itself is ground breaking which will leave you in AWW mode and the feedback I got from friends and relatives was just great. Their place is “Freshly Squeezed” NEW, located in the hottest mall in the country, Avenues, as a nail spa, it provides the latest most fashionable trends imaginable with a solid statement “what we provide, you cant find anywhere else”.

In my opinion, the two sisters compliment eachother perfectly. You’ll find Glam-glow//BANG BANG//Subtle and various waves of trends against a well organized, oh la la chic atmosphere a sample of what education, world exposure, team work and cultural understanding can bring you. LUSH is the word melting in my mind.

I was asked by the kind ladies to snap my own pictures of the place, but I thought the pictures they provided were just excellent, I mentioned this just to flash a light on how cooperative and super sweet they were. I appreciate it ladies.

Readers, please allow yourself into the details of the interview, explore their stories, academic status and succesful business adventure.

Abdullah Interviews Abdulrahman Al-Nouri & Al-Qattan

Some boys kept sending me emails complaining that I dont have male guests on p0ach.com no more, I beg to differ ofcourse but I wont get into further details, I , my dear darling earthling beings, brought you not one Abdulrahman, but two, two Abdulrahman’s, two of the brightest men out there in one interview, so no more talking/complaining, yes ? Talk about sexist, eh ? Ladies you better fire back, boys are jealous. I can confirm that for sure.

Allow me to just say that in my humble opinion, p0ach.com today is the ultimate Kuwaiti web platform to promote local talents, new business establishments and everything energetic, full of life, hawt, new, fresh and hits right back at us, right back to Kuwait.

Im so proud of today’s guests Abdulrahman Al-Nouri & Abdulrahman Al-Qattan for their wonderful groundbreaking ideas packed and managed in a smartly put together plan. Cubical Services.

What is the concept behind Cubical Services you ask ?

Two scenarios:

A: You have an idea, would like to establish your own business BUT you dont know what to do ? who to contact, where to go, who to trust, how much, value, expensive, cheap correct wrong, yes ?

B: You have a business, probably home based, you’d like to grow and rent/build/create your own shop but dont have the know-how’s ?

YOU GO TO CUBICAL SERVICES.

In short, Thats what they do. They lead you through their intensely complicated systems/intense research to the easiest most useful time managed plans thats out there today. All you have to do is choose what works with you.

Not only that, you get to have your own office, meeting room, your personal account manager, your assistant, all combined with todays latest technological advancements at the palm of your hands, you also get people from this country as vibrant and as fresh as you are helping you do everything you want, your way.

The other day I went to their office, had a nice chat with them, they probably thought im KOKO in the brain cuz I was exhausted and I said the nastiest things imaginable, HAH! Seriously though, the guys are just wonderful, know what they are doing, down to earth and extremely easy to deal with.

I wish I could end this interview and talk all about their services myself but I know you’d shove a cheese sandwich in my mouth to shut me up. That being said, lemme give you the boys and let them do the talking.
