Japanese products at Sultan Center!
For all of you vegetarians out there, I found a few tofu products in Sultan Center Sharq! Tofu is high in protein and calcium and is well known for its ability to absorb new flavors through spices and marinades, so its PERFECT for vegetarians. You can use it in salads, soups, and stews. It can also be grilled, used in stir fries, and pureed into a dip. The Asian Style Tofu would go well with noodles, I cant wait to try it!
There were also so many cool Japanese products like these panko breadcrumbs, You can panko everything and you know what would be amazing? cheese stuffed panko jalapeno poppers! yum! These mushrooms of different varieties and flavors are so cute! I didn’t know what to choose, so I took one of each to try. If you love Japanese products, go check the Japanese section at Sultan Center, I’m pretty sure you’ll love it!

I received an invite yesterday to celebrate Xcite’s first anniversary! Inside the, what I call a “Mini Jidir,” was an apron and on top was a pair of chopsticks..Hmm..Have you guessed what the event is? Sushi rolling cooking lessons at Chef Boutique! Something fun, something different (very much needed!)

GulfRun Karting Endurance Race 2012
The GulfRun team are organizing their second 26 Hours Karting Endurance Race, which will be held this December. Last year’s event was a huge hit and you could watch the highlights in the video above! If you’re interested in registering, check out the details and requirements below:
Event: GulfRun Karting Endurance Race – 2012 (24 Hours)
Date: 14th December 2012
People per team: Minimum 4 / Maximum 12
Registration deadline: 21st of November.
Location: Kuwait International Fairgrounds
· You may have a minimum of 4 drivers and a maximum of 12 drivers per team.
· Teams can be sponsored by a Company or Organization, with the opportunity to brand the Go-Kart, Pit Garage and Team apparel.
· All participants must be local drivers; 18 and above.
· This endurance race will be regulated by UK Marshalls according to FIA regulations
The entry fee per team will be 1200 KWD and include the following:
· Twin engine Honda Pro Kart for the 26 Hour race; Tires, spare parts and brake pads will be included
· Pit garage for each team.
· Fuel and oil for the practice, qualifier and race.
· Full Medical support on-site
· Full track team, mechanics, flag marshals and safety marshals on-site.
