VIVA held the 2nd App Club workshop with Kuwait’s youngest application developer, 15 year old Abdulrahman Al Zanki. The VIVA App Club is the first club of its kind in Kuwait to cater for application developers from the age 13 -18 years.

The workshop welcomed 20 young developers and included topics such as ‘basics of app development’ and ‘steps to create your own application’. In the next workshop they will be able to present their app ideas for valuation by AlZanki and the VIVA team.

Small to Big (STB) is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative organized by Pink
Coffee Marketing & PR and sponsored by Viva Telecom that aims to assist working Kuwaitis
understand the market dynamics and situation and provide them with the essential tools and
knowledge to augment their businesses and careers to greater heights.

Pink Coffee launched the 5-day free management course from the 11th -18th of March, 2012 at
the prestigious King’s College, London. This course brought together the best and the brightest
minds in Kuwait for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where participants got to learn and enhance
their insights in the management field.

Finalists were chosen from various entries submitted from all over Kuwait. This year, the
finalists ranged from entrepreneurial individuals to employees who surpassed the others through
their exceptional potential.

Also joining the participants from Pink Coffee were Shamlan Al Bahar, Dana Al Otaibi and
Dalal Al Fadala. The participants had some very interesting and enlightening sessions through

Self-taught illustrator Saad Moosajee has been exhibited in multiple galleries and published in a multitude of magazines and books. His latest works dubbed “Nature in Technicolor” showcase the artists whimsical and playful style applied to the animal kingdom. Using abstract forms and colorful interpretations, birds, lions and owls set against a soft white background are presented and executed wonderfully.

Take some time and look and that picture, it has loads of depth in it.

A few weeks back, I had an image of myself signing books to beloved colleagues at work. Wanted to share with them the knowledge that was/is and continues to bestow upon my being. I imagined writing a personal message to each and everyone I cared about and knew that they’d read this.

Never had the chance to make that a reality until now.

You see, I was looking for a book by an author who brings peace and loads of awareness. Found out that the ministry had his books on the X list.

Really. This is so funny for me to deal with.

Something in me goes “Sigh” another “Come on, really?”.

Because Eckhart taught to take the moment as it is, a decision arose within and whispered “Ditch the country, get it from Dubai”.

Amazing is it not ? I travel now to get books.

Wont discuss the state of illiteracy and lack in houses of knowledge.

Then again, I could have asked friends to get it on their iPads, just like I do. I felt it was inconvenient so I decided not to entertain that thought.

This book – A New Earth, is the reason why p0ach.com exists. Why I smile all the time. Why I never look my age. Why I always always always get more than what I want. Why I pray in peace. Why and how I feel the stillness of the almighty.

Might be rambling a bit but I don’t really care.

I enjoy the care free state of mind I know I’m blessed with.

With every living element in me, I wish everyone could read the book. I genuinely do.
