Recently I was asked about Mobile Number Portability, aka MNP.
A birdy told me that mnp should be available in Kuwait by law but some are still for it not to happen.
So whats an MNP service ?
Basically, what it means is that you can keep your mobile telephone number (and if you’re anything like me you’re probably as emotionally attached to yours as I am to mine) but change from one telecom company without needing to get a new number.
Lemme give you an example:
I may have a Wataniya chip, loving my number, dont want to change it for any reason BUT i love the services I saw/heard of with VIVA/ZAIN so what do i do ?
I keep my number, switch networks and enjoy the services that come with it. HAWT aint it ?
Yeah see that ?? some people are trying to block you from havin some. Umm hmm.
By the way, this advantage/feature is available pretty much everywhere else in the Gulf already.
Anyway, i’ll investigate a lil more and see what I can get you guys.
Oh and for the record ? All the rumor posts I made previously were accurate, just in case your doing your credibility match. *SNAP*

A little birdy tells me that a parlimant member will change his name from human/kuwaiti name to a dogs name.
I guess it suites him pretty well. I mean if he wants to, why not ?
Ofcourse this is only a rumor or a dark gloomy wish, who knows.
Come to think of it, i’d call him “Poopy the LOUD DOG” so when a conversation occurs this is how it goes:
Me: Hey why did you bark at the neighbours ?
Poopy: WOOF WOOF
Me: Ohh I know, you went there, you didnt GET what you WANTED ?
Poopy: Nodding head.
Me: Shame on you, but then again, a dog will always be a dog. A dog will always follow the MASTER.
Poopy: WOOF WOOF “Tail wiggle”

My favorite non islamic bank had a plan months back to launch a new campaign that highlights newly married couples in Kuwait.
General features were:
- A very flexable loan, really low interest rate.
- Exclusive accommodation offers.
- A gift voucher which is a trip to Dubai with a two night stay in Atlantis Hotel.
and many more.
I wonder what happened, no news of that wonderful/humanitarian offer came about yet. Lord knows these couples need that extra push, they have already been “budget” stripped. HAH !
