Coming soon to Kuwait with the best new British music, The Selector Radio Show. Which will be launched on Friday 8th of March at Marina Crescent. The launch will feature Selector podcasts and live music performances by local Kuwait based-bands: Light Touch Kalendi Trio City Jazz.
British Council is proud to present a new radio show for British music lovers, every Wednesday from 4:00pm-5:00pm starting on March 13th 2013 on 99.7 Radio Kuwait. Listen to the best contemporary British music once a week presented by Goldierocks on Radio Kuwait 99.7 Super Station.
The remit of this cultural collaboration between the British Council and its partner Radio Kuwait 99.7 FM is to bring the best of British music and culture to Kuwait , promoting Britain as a creative and diverse country. Also this collaboration will provide local musicians the opportunity to get introduced to British music and to explore collaboration opportunities with UK bands. The Selector has recently won the Best International Radio Show Award at the 2011 International Radio Festival in Zurich whilst also collecting bronze for Best Regularly Scheduled Music Programme at the New York International Radio Awards.

I watched Pitch Perfect last night and it has made it to the top of my favorite 2012 movies list! Refreshing, and along the lines of Bridesmaids and The Hangover funny. Ana Kendrick surprisingly sounded really good and Rebel Wilson was off the charts hilarious! Watch it and let me know what you think! The band RYSHA CODA, composed of musicians and dancers from France, Yemen, Belgium and Palestine, will perform on Monday,December the 3rd at 7.30 pm on the stage of the famous Gharnata Theater (Abraq Khaitan), the oldest theater in Kuwait. For this unique show, Kuwaiti traditional musicians and dancers form Loyac will join the international artists. Together they will produce cultural fusion by mixing traditional Arabic music and hip hop rhythms.
The show Aswat is organized on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and the proceeds from the eveningwill be donated to the Kuwaiti disabled sport club.

They decide to join ventures and head to a an emperor that would make their dreams of changing their age come true. During their trip, they go through many situations and stories which makes them realize that age is not a number, its how you live it.
