In a giving mode.

Been busy doing all kinds of stuff from A-Z (literally) – Played MJ’s “Working Day N Night” + kept it on repeat, makes me smile listening to it.

I love what I do. The people I work with and the details they bring forth. Its really beautiful what unity under different mind sets creates.

To be honest reading’s been slow to non existent in the past two weeks due to the above, HOWEVER, the result is RE-WARDING indeed.

What am I trying to say ?

Im not a wizard, still, I know those who love what they do never look at the watch or care what happens + most importantly, never complain.

Speaking of no complains, I LOVE LOVE LOVE our new cook. He does the best White Truffle (7amsa) in town and tastes like DIVINITY. OHHHHHH – I’v been calling it the Soul Pleasing (7amsa) – sure looked good to me AND made me smile.

Took the pain away actually.

Kuwaitis – all you hawt zexy freaks – are exposed to the best of the best of whats out there. Still, I think there is space for bits of enhancements here and there.

A friend of mine – lost brother from another mother – went to the beautiful and – in my book – uninhabited SOUTH AFRICA.

Its very important for you guys to realize that these pics were all taken by an iPhone 4s, nothing else. A camera in a phone.

Don’t have the right words to explain to you how deeply rooted my love for nature is. Finding it all together in one space is beyond what my mind can handle at once. Its really beautiful.

Friends decided we should hit the sea, escape the city along with its beautiful KOKO festivities.

Found shelter + a hotel night in service at a friend’s legendary Yacht. If you knew which yacht we were in you’d know what I’m talking about. Legendary.

Ofcourse the whole feel was vacation-y. HAH!

Weather, clouds, food, friends, the occasion and nasties around us on other yachts made our night an unforgettable one.

Unbelievable how people react. Expectations are their own devils, Awwww.

I’m happy to be alive one more day. One of my dear family members left us to a place of eternal rest, I’ll miss her laugh, her smile and our secret conversations. I always celebrate those I love by keeping favorite memories close by.

Levels of appreciation for being well, alive, able to breath, talk and laugh go up by the minute.

Genuinely, I ask you to be appreciative of what you have, embrace it, celebrate it and BE thankful for it.

Smile, you are alive today.

You have to make space for things to happen.

On a long vacation, having the time of my life and YES started reading already. I’ll let you in on the latest on tomorrow’s post.

Book title, the latest APP I’m obsessed with, a little story with Alothamn Zakat house and a bit of anime too.

If all goes well, I’ll leave town soon and hit some hot tropical spots somewhere in this big wide planet of ours.

Please try and have a beautiful week with lots of things to do. Find ways to make your friends at work/school more productive. You’ll go up together, on all levels.

For some reason work is not going the way you like ?  Try this, it helped me, might help you as well.

I WILL NOT STOP REMINDING YOU that you are alive today and that alone is a reason to be up, jolly and in great mood.

Small piece of advice: Since the weather is slowly shifting, I guess now is the best time to check your tires, wipers and light signals, all of a sudden it’ll be winter, rain and people holding phones on the road. I don’t have to elaborate right?

Scanning through vacation pix taken last summer. Realized I had lots of pics taken were hovering around flowers. Never knew I had lots of attachments to’em.

This one was taken back in Germany. Probably not the best picture you’ve seen out there, to me, its full of life.

In our house, here in Kuwait, we have jasmine flowers in the garden. Love to see them half blossomed, as early as 6-7 am. Fully open by 12pm, then finally shut their eyes down when I come back home at night.

Sometimes I stand up and have a nice moment or two, gazing at the beauty, pureness and smell the fluffy scent sent out. I feel whole. Never knew why. Its pleasant, just pleasant standing there, sometimes it feels like time stops.

Please take a moment or two of appreciation, mindfulness or gratitude for anything that pleases you throughout the day. Try to, at least.

Doing so will help you make a mini mental gap from the noise in your head and the constant “but I’m late” or “I’m bored” repetitive records playing in there.

Tell your parents or loved ones what they mean to you. If your shy, TEXT them, at least squeeze something out.

Today, you are alive and reading this.

That alone is worth appreciation.

Been working real hard on lots of projects, photo shoots, future posts and lots of exciting stuff. Some for me, for the fam, work and ofcourse YOU guys.

I feel like I know alot about my readers *ahem* the obvious “I hate sundays//School//Work”

They say “What you resist, persists”, allow me to ask you to give into sundays, work and school. Give in, let everything flow, dont try to control or resist what’s infront of you.

You’ll be surprised how things’ll appear once you let go.

I dont want to give lots of details, the more general my lines are, the more I know you guys can relate to it.

Try this:

- When streets are super crowded, try not to go crazy with horns or get controlled by your brain that screams “za7maaaaa”. Say ” i know its crowded, it’ll be ok in a few seconds” smile, + know that you just monitored yourself, your thoughts, to many of you, that’ll be a brand new experience.

- Let people pass, give way to those crossing the street. Put yourself in their shoes. It takes lots of courage to do that.

- Make someone happy. Give, share and protect if you can. Everything you give will come back to you even better than you imagined. Whenever I give 1 KD, I, at least get 10 KD back. Thats a fact.

- Smile, comprehend that you are a gift, your presence on earth is a blessing. There’s no such thing as COINCIDENCE. You are meant to have all the dysfunctions and KOKO mentality and insecurities you THINK you have. Everything is there because its meant to be so. Even you reading this line right now.

You are a gift. Smile and embrace this fact till the rest of the day. Week. Month. Your entire life.

Lets all praise the LAWWWWWD – keep it light people – Keep It Light. HAH!

Fresher than ever. Had two big glasses of orange juice the other day at my friend’s chalet. Was probably 6 or 7 in the morning.

Never sure what the time is, don’t look at it on weekends. Depend on the sun’s position and assume what time it is.

Only if time grabs my attention. Usually not.

Most importantly though, had a great time, went to my brain while under the sun and asked it to “empty recycle bin” and just like that, erased everything, made a new space, allowed new info to jump right in. Sun was beautiful, gave me bits of her shimmering magnificence, all over my existing form.

Learned something new, don’t want to share it, just because I think many are not ready to receive it. All in time, will come to light.

Many people came to mind, many things I am thankful for, many blessings. Decided to send silent prayers to many people. Funny, I sent my prayers silently, avoiding contact.

I say this with love. 

Speaking of love, I love sundays – no, not in a nerdy way. Its just that sundays breath life into me. Traffic, people, coffee, breakfast, work, school, shower, walking, clothes, interaction, cologne – LIFE.

Go early to work, make way for those crossing the street, be patient, smile a lot.

When you wake up tomorrow, be thankful you did.

A friend showed me this video and I thought “wow – so he’s into movies ? photography ?” cuz that video is pure excellence. Very clean, very sharp, to the point, your eyes fixed on content while text appears on the side, your senses, uninterrupted. reminded me of some fine – first class – new york short movies.

Interruption came from my friend “No ! He is that and more, he cooks too ! – He’s the same guy who did that video of Kuwaiti’s back in 1990, the war, remember that video ? The one that had one of your students in it – Al lougayan ?”

Then I knew who I’m dealing with. A genius.

Lately, I have been thinking of new ways to meditate. I always seek silence in what I do.

Decided this time to add natural elements, none other than Oranges.

I won’t put in a lot of words or phrases to what I do or where I mentally go in these beautiful, deep-breath wrapped sessions, however, i’ll say this.

Never ever spent that much time looking at an orange that deeply, held it in my hands, went through its beautiful lines, liquid-y texture, fibers, smell and definitely the all in all different layers of the color orange. Its beautiful and without doubt, did not exist out of coincidence. GOD/Source energy/Conciseness was kind enough to share this fruit with us.

Its probably silly to say this but I was mesmerized by how everything about orange is orange, HAH! The exterior layer, orange juice, orange color and orang-y scent. You may find this childish, I find it utterly mesmerizing. A jewel we pass by everyday, not really feeling its beautiful presence.

It’s funny how everything else I saw after that was more vibrant and full of life.

Speaking of beauty and sublime creation, I find Orange trees divine.

As I was passing by the Sheraton Round about in the city with a friend of mine, I saw a young man, probably 18-20 years young, moderating traffic, standing in the middle of the road.

Immediately stopped by, asked him, whats his deal ? He said I am part of the ministry of interior’s summer camp – we help police men with their jobs during summer – we help them moderate traffic and other things too.

That made me really really happy – I wanted to take pics of him, couldn’t was too crowded, so we left.

I have these points to point out though:

- They should wear something that indicates/shows and unifies who and what they are.

- Please provide them with cool bottles of water. Its not a joke.

- Inform them what their job is, properly.

Aside from that, I could not be an happier/proud.

17 Simple & Powerful TIPs - Robin Sharma:

1.          Turn off all technology for 60 minutes a day and focus on doing your most important work.

Why Ahmad this sunday ?

On Sunday April the 17^th at 7 am in the morning. A Kuwaiti drove 320 km North from Los Angles to California farms land, to send his camera to high above the ground, to reach Space, and photograph the black sky in the middle of the day, to prove it went to Space. The launch of his homemade spaceship was on 10 am in the morning. The Spaceship ascent for 2 hours, took pictures of the Black space, then 2 hours later, it landed 100 km east of the launching site. The owner then drove to the landing site, and picked up his spaceship, and viewed the images, and the project was a complete successes. The spaceship reached 30 000 meters above sea level, and photographed the curvature of earth itself. And therefore He became the first Kuwaiti to achieve that height with a handmade and self-budget project.

At this height, a human need a spacesuit or he/she will boil up because of the lack of pressure and cause death the same way as if he went out of space shuttle without a spacesuit.

The space Balloon reached altitude that is higher than all civilian aircraft, and all spy airplanes.  The environment at this height will lack normal atmosphere that you can see the blackness of space comfortably as shown in the pictures.

Ahmad Nasser Alromeadheen is an aeronautical and space technology engineer student and a member in the scientific club of Kuwait in the department of Astronomy. Ahmad has a very big passion to the exploration of space and Astronomy.  He worked as member of the Astronomy department with al’aijery observatory, the planetarium, and helped coordinate with other science club members in many eclipse and astronomical events that happened in Kuwait, and provided many public lectures about Astronomy and Science to promote this field in Kuwait. He also took pictures of the Nova explosion that happened in 2008 and was put in the Kuwaiti news paper.

Ahmad spend most of his youth time studying the stars and the universe in Kuwait desert to make a better understand of it and to help the Arab and Kuwait to catch up at the science race that the world is in right now.

One of Ahmad’s dreams is to be the 1^st Arab to walk on the moon and the planets of the solar system.  A dream that could be impossible with current Arab situation, but nothing is impossible in this life.

Ahmad would like to thank everyone who helped him and encouraged him since he was young on science, for he thinks that he could have not done that, without the encouragement he received from his parents, brothers, sister, friends, and the scientific center of Kuwait. He would like to give this achievement as a gift for his parents to their wedding 30^th anniversary, the scientific club of Kuwait, and for all the people of Kuwait and their Ameer, and of course, to every human been.

يوم الأحد الموافق السابع عشر من ابريل في تمام الساعة السابعة صباحا, حوالي 320 كيلو مترا شمال المنطقة الأمريكية لوس أنجلوس إلى مزارع كالفورنيا ليرسل بكامرته إلي السماء لتصل للفضاء ويصور السماء السوداء في منتصف النهار ليثبت بلوغها الفضاء.
انطلاقت مركبته المصنوعة يدويا في تمام الساعة العاشرة صباحا و استغرق صعودها ساعاتان تقريبا و أخرى لرجوعها بعد اتمام مهمتها بتصوير الفضاء الأسود, و تمت عملية الهبوط على بعد 100 كيلو مترا شرق موقع الانطلاق. وعندها انطلق المواطن الكويتي إلى موقع الهبوط و أخرج الصور من الكاميرا و بذلك انجزت المهمه بنجاح باهر. وصل إرتفاع المركبة إلى 30000 مترا فوق مستوى سطح البحر و صورت إنحناءة كوكبنا الأم الأرض.

إن بلوغ هذا الارتفاع يلزم الإنسان إرتداء زي الفضاء الخاص و إلا لم يستطع العيش من قلت الضغط التي تسبب في غليان الجسم في الداخل, مثلما لو خرج رائد الفضاء إلى الفضاء من غير زي الفضاء الخاص.

وصل بلون أحمد الرميضين الفضائي إلى إرتفاع أعلى من جميع الطائرات المدنية و منها العسكرية و تتشخص بيئة هذا الارتفاع بندرة الغلاف الجوي مما يجعل رؤية سواد السماء مرأيا و واضحا مثلما هي واضحة في الصور الملتقطة.  مما يجعل منه أول كويتي يصل إلى هذا الارتفاع بمجهود فردي.

الطالب أحمد ناصر الرميضين متخصص في هندسة الملاحة وتكنولوجيا الفضاء و كذلك عضو في النادي العلمي الكويتي بقسم الفلك له شغف كبير في مجال إكتشاف الفضاء و الفلك و عمل كذلك كعضو في مرصد العجيري, و ساعد في تنظيم العديد من الظواهر الفلكية التي حدثت في الكويت مع أعضاء النادي الأخرين مثل كسوف الشمس. و ألقى أحمد الرميضين العديد من محاضرات فلكية و فضائية التي ركز فيهم على توسيع هذا المجال في الكويت. و من أشهر ما نقل إلا الصحافة الصورة التي إلتقطها عن إنفجار نوفا فضائي في عام 2008
قضى أحمد الرميضين وقته و حياته في دراسة النجوم و المجرات في صحراء الكويت منذ صغره كي يفهمه بشكل أدق و أعمق و كذلك ليساعد الكويت و العرب في الارتقاء في سباق العلم و وصولهم إلى مستويات العلم العليا.

و من أحلام أحمد بأن يكون العربي الأول في المشي على القمر و كواكب المجوعة الشمسية, حلم يكاد أن يكون مستحيلا في حال العرب الحالي و لكن ليس مستحيلا بنسبة له.

و أخيرا يحب أحمد ناصر الرميضين أن يشكر كل شخص ساعده و حفز فيه روح المثابرة و التقدم في العلم منذ صغره. و يعتقد إنه لم يصل إذا هذا لولا تشجيع والديه و أخوانه و أخته و أصدقائه و النادي العلمي الكويتي. و يريد أن يهدي هذا الإنجاز إلى والديه في ذكرى زواجهم الثلاثون, و إلى النادي العلمي الكويتي, و إلى دولة الكويت وشعبها عامة و أميرها خاصة  وبالطبع جميع البشرية.

Because I love COCO skin, I went with my cousin Mejroxy for a tanning session, making use of this wonderful london-like cloudy sunny weather.

Im afraid I didnt get the color I like yet but its the effort that counts. Had a big big joyous time.

I must say, for the first time ever, “I can have the cake and eat it too” works just fine by moi. Decode that, HAH!

Mum and dad’s energy was all I needed. It may be a word, a look or just a smile. I fed off of it.

On another note, Weather HD app on the iPad claims there’s a 20% chance of rain today (fingers crossed).

Give in to that wonderful morning energy, go out and create ! Make a difference.

My cousin’s been running a blog for a good while now, he’s the closest thing to p0ach ever to exist. My soul mate, I miss him, dont know where he is by now, probably in a country here or there working his zexiness on some world wide freaks while I stay here with the beautiful unbeatable sand storms. HAH!

Well, with that being said, probably the clear blue skies and beautiful architecture splash a creative thought or two in your tiny, yet magnificent brain cells.

I have been going through lots of projects. 75% done so far. One of them is dedicated for you guys. I know you’ll enjoy it. I know I did. HAH!

World wide events can not move me. I could not care less, even If I wanted to, I could not, can not – do not have the ability to care less about whats happening world wide. Except for Japan, that country has a special place in my heart.

I hope that we can appreciate the peace, love, total abundance and joy that surrounds us every day here in Kuwait. Its really beautiful. I am aware enough to sense it and use it for my own good.

This week has been the ultimate De-clutter phase of my life.

I went through lots of mental de-clutter stages starting with the closet, then iTunes Music library and finally pics on iPhoto.

Realized had alot of items that were just laying there with no purpose at all. Were close enough to become part of my identity in a way or another. Decided to get locked down in the room and force myself to run these errands. May sound easy but the rams running in your brain are at their highest potential.

So what went down ?

#1 After slimming down the closet by putting winter clothes up and throwing away a junk of unnecessary clothes, I found ALOT of shirts, polos and T-shirts with TAGS on’em. Left me in a bitter sweet state of mind.

#2 When I cleaned my musical library, corrected the wrong names, albums and release year + other info, I became extremely aware and in control of the huge library. Making play lists was a breeze.

#3 Moved photo library from iPhoto to Aperture (both are powerful image editing softwares) While doing that, realized how many unwanted events exist, HAH! awww i’ll leave the details of what I saw to my bad self.

The beetroot pic reminds me of a nice place in Barcelona. I almost forgot what I did, how I enjoyed my vacation, who I went with and when. Going through the pics did a magnificent job restoring pleasant memories.

With that being said, im sure you guys are 10x worse than me (I dont have figures, I just assumed – *TeeHee*) Highly advice you freaks to go through what I did, if you haven’t already.

Your brain will become lighter, your mind will reach a weightless space and your vision will be crystal clear. No doubt.

*Pssst: Try to give the things you don’t want to complete strangers outside your social circle. Sometimes, you think you should give what you dont want to your brothers and sisters. Don’t. Stretch your hands far out. The affect is priceless.
