Today, I’m very happy and proud to announce that the owners of Burger boutique, Slider Station, Open Flame Kitchen and your new favorite spot, Cocoa room, opened their 2nd branch in Oman. This time its Kuwait’s hawtest joint, Slider Station.

A bit of architecture and design is what we have for you today.

Highlights:

This hawt new joint is located in one of the most luxurious/high-end/Exclusive areas in Muscat, ALQURUM Beach, right next to the the brand new Royal Opera House (Hosts international acts like Andrea Bocceli, Majda AlRomi, The London Philharmonic and more).

Zexy bit too, it has a wood fired oven, you can only imagine/smell them flat bread, tummy pleasers.

The kind people over at “Life With Cacao” made a cosy gathering for bloggers under the name “Blogger’s Night”. Located next to Lorenzo at 360 Mall. before I say anything, I want to express how happy/proud I am of this joint, its a pure Kuwaiti creation, not a chain, A KUWAITI CREATION. I am beyond happy and thrilled.

I loved how the place was in a “still under construction” mode, wood walls covering the whole place with a big vintage lock by the door, I didnt know what to do, should I knock ? or should I just jump right in, being the vulgar/bold me, I decided to jump right in, immediately got greeted by the nice people who’r working there, the owner was beyond sweet and amazing, a gentleman for sure.

So here I am in a semi secluded place, it felt exclusive, you know ? Being catered to, that was nice, it felt special. Oh and speaking of special, LAWWD have mercy on me, my soul and my body, this joint screams “Switzerland/France” on so many levels, look, the place is boldly laid out with strong colors like Gold and Purple with multiple seating zones and positions, the chef is French, do not be fooled by him when he says ” Ahllan wa Sahllan” he knows how to say that well, what he perfects well, however, is his food.

The food’s presentation is superb, the service is blazing fast, the menu too was very french oh and even if you didnt like, say, Cinnamon, you’ll fall into the presentation and mighty tasteful reciepece. I dont even want to remember the things I had, its dangerous, craving for more, my weight scale slapped me in the face BIG TIME, umm, Twice ?

It was a learning experience, the owner explained what kind of chocolate he’s dealing with “Swiss”, the levels of cacao and milk combined, what are the international combinations made out there in the universe and what he is presenting to us, while he was doing that, he asked my friend A.B.E, to blow off the candle under the White chocolate fondue, we saw a slight whole in the middle coming off, he explained that White Chocolate have lots of milk in it, which means its lighter, cacao wise, made it burn quicker than the rest of the team mates out there “dark and milk chocolate” I LOVED IT !

Alright, I know what your waiting for, you want the dishes, ummm, you better pray before you see the mighty selection we have for you:

Now lets play easy first, shall we ? Since I love tech stuff, I had to highlight the devices, you see the kind host will punch your order right into the deivce, finalize everything while still at your table, so no pending time between your order and the time it takes to walk back to the kitchen and explain your order on the dance floor, HAH ! That explains the blazing speed

Moving along, still playing easy, we have the usual suspects, white, milk and dark choco fondue yes ?

The dish looks normal no ? Well, its not, the cup looks deep, it fits just right enough portion for the dips that come along the way. The taste is abnormally amazing Oh and prayer starts here, cuz these dips are NEW, LAWWWWWD have mercy on that Lemon cake, all I could think of was Britney’s “Gimme gimme, MORE, gimme MORE, 3a6nee 3a6nee ZOOD !”

ok back to reality, aside from the known Strawberry, Banana, cookies and marshmelows, lemme show you a little bit of dip madness:

To make a selection of dips, I had to categorized them by levels of zexiness ya heard ? so here’s the deal.

Outrageous Zexy Dips selection include:

Meringue, Lemon/raspberry/green tea and vanilla cake.

Zexy dips selection include:

Cookies, marshmellows, Cinnamon & fruits.

Meringue ? we have a Meringue dip in kuwait ? see that ? that is UNIQUE !

Uniqueness definitely does not stop here boys and girls oh no it doesnt, grab a look again at this dish from many sides, all you twitter fans are gonna die for this marvellous creation.

I present to you, The Bird’s Nest

This is just superb. Lemme explain, its a mixture of all three types of chocolate White, Milk and Dark, formed in an EGG shape, filled inside with different flavors that you’ll never kn0w until you eat one, literally. There is nothing that tells you what your about to eat. That being said, how are you gonna eat this ? with a spoon ? have everything falling off and be a total mess ? No baby, no, the owner adds another unique element to this by introducing this to you

Ok so lets talk a little bit about the nest itself. Its made of PURE DARK COCO, formed in a nest shape, decorated with mint to give it an ever so elegant and might I add delicious persona. I actually had to make an edited pic for you to see how well this dish was put together and highlight the Dark coco lines.

Another french design galore knitted with a matching taste is the Cookie Fondant

Everything you see on this dish is home made, from the Vanilla Ice cream till the cookie, fillings, grab a look inside

Instant death.

Tortofu, will bring you back to life with its ever so animated design, lovely, exquisite and yes, again, unique. Hold on, let me give the Cream on the side around of applause, HEAVENLY !

Strawberry cheese cake ? The strawberry cheese cake wins p0ach’s 1st BABY MAKING DISH award, AHHH !! need I say more ?

Aside from all the uniqueness, there is still place for drinks, shakes and blends. I grabbed a bunch of drinks and here are my recommendations:

Arabian sunset (Minty) & Vanilla milkshake.

The owner wanted to bring in more dishes but I swear if my hands were placed on any other dish, I would have crawled out of there. since my knees cant pull me all up together. *Ahem* Speaking of crawling, since im on a diet, the sugar high I got was dangerous, lets just say that being HIGH was an understatement. I kept saying things Im not gonna share HAH !
