Was watching BBC yesterday, saw this footage where Mcdonalds, Burger King etc are on the rise. People are going there like hot ham on christmas, for the obvious reason of financial crisis (duh!)
The interesting thing is how the correspondent was talking about how this is affecting their health. So here is the cycle:

While I was visiting Starbucks at Baitak Tower today, one of the staff handed me and my friends this invitation to attend a semi-event called ” An Insightful photography Exhibition “.

Sugar & Spice is a chocolatier/sweets/cupcake-galore store located inside Shwaikh’s Co-Op.
ALL, I repeat, ALL items on her menu are amazing. She (her shop) is one of the reasons why I have to work extra hard at the gym to gain my physique & muscles back.
Aside from having repeated perfection time after time, My Friend, M, told us that the store introduced a cake that can be made only in weekends. Diva much ? That cake, is not only worth the wait, its worth every fils throwin its way.
its called ” Black Devil Wedding Cake “, i was like ” what ?? what is it called again ?? one more time ? ” I LOVE THE NAME !!!

Today includes another P2BK show stopper:
This shop is not new in the market, its been out for a while, grabbed alot of attention, a reason for me to see what’s it all about.
You have to imagine how small these outlets are and then have to ADORE the owners for being so creative in such a small place. The owner “B”, could not be any sweeter than her displayed sweets, just sweet, plain and clear.
She literally created, semi golden frames that pops out of the wall in the most luxurious way possible, in each frame was a, well deserved, super fine piece of her sweet creation. There was also a place for her to recieve orders, gazillion orders were placed while i was there, and noo noo im not done, A FREAKIN FIRE PLACE with “i want to eat them all” marshmellows.
My dear B, a round of applause to you, your sweets & wonderful out of the box creation.

The quote she has on the mini brochure was well placed “DONT LET THE NAME FOOL YOU”, so i thought .. hmmm well ? is it because how these products swim in a sea of perfection ? turns out, it wasnt only that, because she offers other things that are more than just sweets. Salads, soups, sandwiches, cold and hot beverages too.

Another show stopper at the P2BK event.
Let me just start by saying that the owner of Sushi KW is a total doll. She is an amazing lady, very polite, down to earth, generous, motivated, full of energy and most of all witty. In fact, her whole family I met were just the same. It’s a shame I could not stay for long, people were pushing and shoving, had it in me to punch someone. HAH! Regardless of all that mess, she was kind enough to let me snap some pix.
Dont ask me why, I just feel comfortable when the owners are nice, its just in me.
I understood that it is a home based delivery service, supervised by the owner herself. I had a taste of what was displayed, “WAWO” was all I could think of. I bet the chef gets a big bonus, cuz that recipe is to die for!
A patriotic/stylish/creative master mind is what she is. For her to create this piece of Art is just YUM YUM, doubt shouldent be the question, check other blogs and news papers, they are in love with it !

Wednesday evening was splendid, my cousin is officially engaged. The least you’d expect to get married though. Yet, all the best dear cousin.
We had a dinner party, everybody was there. Family & Friends, people you have not seen in a while, great food and service quality. Just an amazing time!
