ادعى علينا شخص لم يتم الكشف عن هويته بأننا نبيع شوكولاه تحتوي على الكحول، وعلى اثر ذلك قام مندوبون من وزارة التجارة بأخذ عينة من الشوكولاه المعني بالشكوى لفحصها. وهذا النوع من الشوكالاه مصنع من عصير ولب الفاكهة.
وبعد شهر من أخذ العينة تم إبلاغنا بأن العينة تحتوي على نسبة من الكحول تم تقديرها ب 02, 0 % . إن هذه النسبة الضئيلة من الكحول تكونت بسبب ترك العينة لمدة طويلة في مكان حار وعلى أثر ذلك تخمرت الفواكه وكونت هذه النسبة من الكحول ( هذه النسبة أقل بكثير من الكحول الموجود في أدوية السعال وبعض الأطعمة المخمرة).
وعلى اثر ذلك قمنا بإبلاغ الشركة المصنعة الذين بدورهم أكدوا لنا بخلو جميع الشوكالاه المصدرة للكويت من الكحول بما فيها النوع المعني وتم إرسال شهادة من صاحب المصنع وشهادة موثقة من مختبر في بلجيكا تؤكد خلو المنتج من الكحول.
ولحرصنا على سمعة الشركة وإبراء ذمتنا وإبعاد الشك والشبهة قمنا بفحص عينات مماثلة في مختبر خاص في الكويت وتم التأكد من خلوها من الكحول مما يثبت أن النسبة الضئيلة التي وجدت في العينات التي تم فحصها في مختبرات الدولة كان بسبب طريقة التعامل مع العينات حتى وقت فحصها في مختبرات الدولة، علما بأن تاريخ نقل وفحص العينات كان في شهر يونيو حيث من السهولة تعرض العينات للحرارة الشديدة مما ساعد على سرعة التخمر.
إننا نبذل قصارى جهدنا لنقدم لزبائننا الكرام هذا المنتج المشهور عالميا بأحسن حال ونحرص على تداوله بصورة تليق به حتى ينال رضا زبائننا الكرام.
إننا نطلب تفهمكم ودعمكم لنا في هذا الوقت الصعب وسوف نتخذ الاجراءات الكفيلة بحماية سمعتنا وسمعة موكلنا.

Somebody, whose identity has not been revealed, has accused Pierre Marcolini Chocolate of selling products containing alcohol.
Two independent analyses of the same product conducted in Belgium and in Kuwait have proved that the incriminated products contain NO ALCOHOL.
When importing our products, samples are systematically provided to the Authorities for analysis. Products made for the Kuwaiti market, independent of the products sold in Europe, are made sure to contain no alcohol.
Despite our denegation and the negative test results we have been accused of illicit selling of alcohol and our shop is temporary closed.
We, at Pierre Marcolini Kuwait, are honest and hard working persons and we do all possible efforts to provide you with the best possible product and the best possible service.
