I HATE MY JOB!!!
HAH! There i said it!
We have been fighting for our right to change our legal documents since 2006 and our government is still ignoring our plea to live as normal citizens. We are born with a medically proven disorder called Gender Identity Disorder which our ministry of Health actually diagnosis as an illness. Instead our government passed a law that makes us criminals and we are imprisoned just for being ill. Its sad that now we are immigrating out of the country one after the other.

Sooli… yes this is Kuwait. Any psychological issue is a mental illness (if you do go to il6ib alnafsi, it is used against you in court btw.) Any psychological issue that is remotely related to a religious topic is criminalized.
My rants:
As a woman I feel I don’t have my rights too. I cannot renew my passport, enroll my kids in school, cannot go into an operating room without a male’s signature, cannot take epidural without my husbands signature, cannot get married unless my father marries me off. I feel like cattle being sold rather than a human being.
I hate how blasphemously superficial and simple minded people here, especially females who are not interested in anything besides what they wear and where to eat out (See and be seen)
Most young mothers PISS ME OFF because they are more interested in dressing up their kids than teaching them manners and discipline
I hate that we live for other people more than we live for ourselves
I am not happy, and I don’t see myself happy here. Ever.
YM965…. You are not alone. My mother still controls my life. Sometimes I wonder if it’s because we have over controlling mothers, or we are too nice and don’t want to disappoint.
