One of the many places I go to whenever I think of renovation, recreate, overlay and design, I rush to sun city, shuwaikh. I bet most of you do too.

What inspired you to tap into this sort of work ?

The way this industry (outdoor and indoor tiles, mixers, and sanitary ware) was viewed was that it was more of a need rather than a luxury, and that reflected the suppliers that provided the products for this genre of retail business.  They tried to fill the gaps of that need with out taking into account that not only your “personal space” has to be functional but also beautiful and personalized.  Markets were lacking the idea of a lifestyle area, therefore, I found an opportunity to bring that into the region.

 

Your store is well known for its posh and edgy items. For those who are not familiar with Arte Casa, can you explain the concept behind it briefly ?

Arte Casa offers more than just finishing materials. By using classical and trendy products, for your entire home, We create a lifestyle, that allows people to enjoy their personalized space.

We provides options for all wall and floor coverings, sanitary ware, architectural lighting, as well as designs that are personalized for each customer’s lifestyle, and individuality.

 

What differs you from the rest of the competition out there?

We set trends, and we are up to date with the latest international product designs.

What were the difficulties you faced and how did you overcome them ?

The difficulties I faced were the imitations; being compared t oa lower quality of imitations, and the only way to overcome them is to be avant guard and to keep changing to the better.

 

Support system ?

Without the feedback of close ones and their support, it wouldn’t feel satisfactory. They appreciate my work and efforts, that is why the results of ARTE CASA kept going for the better.

 

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now ?

In 5 years, I would like to see ARTE CASA in Riyath and Qatar, and maybe in emerging markets like India.
