What does this say to you?

State here exactly how you feel when you read it.

A friend sent this to me with the pic attached “im a proud kuwaiti but the arrogance under that message is too much”

I would never read that much into it, however lets see what you guys think.

How do you find whats written up there ?

It all depends on the perspective we look at it. But personally, 9j from a financial perspective kuwait momga9ra bes qeyr chthy shasjed 3alaih?? 3ala 7ob elwa6an ezayed ele 3ndna? No 6ab3an.. 7ub elwa6an is shown by how people represent kuwait, how we elect elnwab based on the love of the country not the tribe or anything else. By wanting what’s good for Kuwait not by stealing from it “if you know what I mean” showing nationalism like what the picture above is meant to show, is not by having stickers on cars or eb 3eed elwa6any we go and dance in the street, for one, 70% of the people dancing eb 3eed elwa6any didn’t go through what the older generation went through bl qazo. 2 – we all can stick national symbols on our cars but that does not mean we really love our country.. Real love and commitment is shown by the actions we do.. O fe wayed 7achy bes that sums most what i think

i’m proud but this doesn’t make me better than non-Kuwaiti people .. Nationality is not what makes a person better than the other

    • mohammed says:

So what your saying is that a person that dosent care about Kuwait and has no sense of nationalism is equal to a person who does have a sense of nationalism and really cares about where he/she lives? Not saying that the person with no nationalism is bad but a.person with nationalism is better. Keeping in mind that the best developed countries are nationalist countries.

      • Yousuf M says:

I am a non-Kuwaiti. I respect Kuwait for so many reasons. Not only everyone should boast nationalism, Islam teaches to abide by the law of the country and respect the country.

Well, we tend to complain alot about our country but when you take a closer look or try to think deeply you tend to appreciate the amount of facilities & endless services provided by our country that by itself should make us thank Allah for his blessings upon this country !

if you love your country .. whether ur kuwaiti in kuwait or in any other country , love it with ur heart .. serve for ur country , do ur country many favorites .. the least u can do to ur country is to Follow the law .. which we rarely can find here

I wish people would only realize exactly what that message says… We live in a country where people get financial “gifts” from the amir, and how do they say thank you? By protesting and complaining about stupid things out of laziness. Other countries protest because they have no food on the table, people here protest because they have nothing else to do! We have free health care, free education, financial aid for marriage, financial aid for working in the private sector (I could keep going until tomorrow!) and instead of saying “il7imdillah”, we get “nabi 7okoma yideeda”.

Excuse my frustration, I was in Greece this summer and I saw what a suffering country looks like, and its boils my blood that people here are complaining from our country!

    Allah e3iz ilkuwait, o e3iz kil insan, Kuwaiti wila mu Kuwaiti yes3a laha… lakin 7asafa wayid nas 3ala hal arth mu 3arfa qemat-ha :(
