Weekend Highlight: Khalil Al-Hamar
Khalil Al-Hamar is young entrepreneur founder/owner of Edges Company and Q8path blog. Born in February 1990 (21 years young). Earned his Diploma – Business Management in Australian College of Kuwait and on his way finishing his B.A Degree. Interested in graphical design, web development, information technology, networking and swimming.
Khalil has won different exhibitions and competitions in graphical designing. In one of the popular competitions organized by Cinescape, Khalil was certified with the top 10 winners.
Abdullah sat down with the shy web developer for a short one on one interview.
Childhood flashes ?
In my childhood, I brought my first Acer Laptop when I was 7 years old, which is my interest and represented my future goals. I joined the Scientific Club for one year to be educated in computer science hardware and software. Mostly, I’ve learnt about computing through daily life experience and reading books.
What differs you from the rest of the competition out there?
The difference is that we deliver high quality, cost effective, reliable, result-oriented multimedia and web solutions for global customers. In addition, to provide unique services in the market such as the iPhone apps which this service is getting more popular in the Kuwaiti smart-phone market.

Your Support System?
In the beginning of building my business I’ve got a full support from my parents to start-up. In the mid of the business, I had a support from my friends and professors in college. Most of the support are the strategies and feedbacks to change in the business to get into the right path.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now ?
From now till 5 years, I see myself finishing my education, searching for a career that adds up value to my experience and expand my business in Kuwait and the Middle East. My future goal is to open my personal holding group co.
