Flickr: Blocked in the UAE or not ?
Can anyone confirm this ?
Unless someone steps up with a legitimate answer, I’ll keep finding this odd.

@p0ach all I can remember that it was blocked for the past 5 years.. As for now, I have no idea, yet I still think it’s blocked.

@p0ach what I heard was that ppl were posting pics of others, and so on .. Which created a huge hype and a lot of personal problems.

Yes it is,becuase someone posted pictures of someone that they shouldnt of… something like that.
It was blocked .. but they unblocked it in 27 / 9 / 2010 .. BTW this page (Um Seed) means that u connect through DU .. I use Etisalat and I can access to the site .. so I don’t have any idea about du company
It is NOT blocked anymore , but it used to be!
Flickr is not blocked in the UAE, at least for etisalat users, except for flickr “groups” it’s blocked, don’t know why!!
