The cake is covered with 24k edible gold - representing the Golden Anniversary of Kuwait and decorated with Al Nowair flowers. The sponge is colored with the colors of our flag.
Flavors; green pistachio, white vanilla, and red raspberry.
See I told you Pistachio will make an appearance. HAH!

MOH’D- Thank you for your comment… thin flakes is a delicacy to enjoy while eating this cake.. It represents the golden jubilee of Kuwait as well. Many restaurants offer flakes of gold in their food too. Some studies showed that there are some health benefits to it too

Wow! I’m surprised people find this cake so offensive and find it so sinful to eat. I mean I don’t expect everyone to like it, we all have different views but to actually bring religion to a piece of cake? Have you not seen restaurants adding flakes of gold on your dessert before? They even sell them in most baking supplies stores, nothing new …plus lalkuwaityeen akthar nass ya36on to charities we are very giving people mafeeha shay if we enjoy what we have as well…chill its just a cake!
