OSN: SHOWBOX HD Experience
Yesterday, I was chatting with Mi7sin & our friend, Ahmad about TVs – LCD VS Plasma. *Mi7isn, would really appreciate it if you could make a post about what we discussed, lots of valuable info there for everybody to share.
This conversation lead me to remember that I had lots of pics taken for you guys discussing the NEW Orbit Showtime HD Box.
As you may know, the network has 12 HD channels.
The clarity, visibility and crystal sharp sound and image are MIND BLOWING. Ofcourse, KOKO ME, I took pics of the TV while its playing Transformers, the movie. For those familiar with Transformers, you know what im talking about. Better yet, watch this HD trailer.
The experience is AMAZING, I could not ask for more, BUT wait, there is more, TWO new things actually:
1 - NEW UI/Layout
check how clean and neat it looks – everything is categorized and sorted nicely.
This is the ON DEMAND menu:
I love how smart it is. It tells you what you viewed previously. Doubt be gone. HAH!
2- Efficient Remote Control:
Why do I say efficient ? because it controls MY TV TOO without setting anything/its automatic and because its transmision/signal-sending is perfect, I dont have to press the button twice/squeeze/scream for it to FLIP to the next channel. The remote I had from OSN earlier was a disaster.
OSN – Call centre:
Wish you’d step it up a bit. Not upset with your schedules/answering calls, not pleased either. Usually, I send my comments directly to the owners, in this case, YOU, however, there is no one to contact BUT i know you read me, so there you have it. I say that with love.

i am using showbox for more than 6 years and am happy with it !
but now with the HD i really enjoying my time wathcing movies and shows ! bas fe wayed ashya2 taghayart lama asawy favourit magdar asaweha nafs what i used to do ! so i have to choose each chanel !!!!! and about the recording i cant time it and record whatever i want as i used to do ! i shoould record just chanels that have epg !
so halshayeen elly ma 7abait-hom feh ! and i cant search el chanels by the name i have to find it between more than 1500 chanels lol !
they told me that they will solve this problems with new auto update .
بكل صراحه الجهاز ممتاز وحلو بس الشوبوكس القديم وايد افضل واسهل منه يعني ما اقدر اسجل او اوقف او اعيد اي قناه فقط قنوات الشوتايم اتحكم فيها غيرهم لا اما الجهاز القديم وايد افضل كان
اهوا الحين حلو لانه قنوات الاج دي ونشالله يعدلونه مثل قبل

We love it too, but I agree with the comment about pausing non-OSN channels… I liked that feature and miss it already.
why csan i not see the on demand or playlist on the other showbox which is in my bedroom. apart from that the quality is superb
