GULFRUN: Hayat Cancer Foundation
GulfRun will be having their second annual Charity Raffle during the GulfRun Carshow to raise money for the Hayat4Cancer Foundation.
We had a successful year with support of our readers, blogs, sponsors, and GulfRun participants, and we hope to make it an even better year.
This years amazing prizes include three powerful vehicles:
1. Polaris Razor RZR800 from Seas & Deserts
2. Can-Am DS450 ATV from Al-Ghanim Marine

Tickets to the raffle – which runs until January 15 – are only 5KD.
All proceeds of the raffle will be donated to the Hayat4Cancer Foundation.
The Ruqaya Al-Qatami Hayat4Cancer foundation was established in 2003 to offer support and medicine for cancer patients.

Review: Apple TV
As usual, I would not dare review apple devices/gadgets since there are handful blogs and websites that are dedicated to do just that.
However, I’d like to highlight some of the things I liked/experienced.
- Its insanely small. Shiny, black and absolutely GORGEOUS.
- You can stream ALL your media on ITUNES directly to the device and right on your TV. Music, Movies, TV Shows and pictures too. My Anime cartoons never looked so good, oh and WANDA SYKES, Chris Rock, Michael and Eddie Murphy looked like GODs on the big screen. LOVED LOVED LOVED the experience.
- Watch your favorite YouTube videos right on your HD TV, Netflix too. Amazing. However, I logged in using my Youtube account to get a quick access to my favorite videos, unfortunately, didnt work and got an error message.
- You dont load anything on the device, everything is wireless. Its super silent, you dont hear a thing at all.
- When Steve Jobs said “you can stream your media right from your computer” I was a bit hesitant. I thought the video may freeze in between or does something funny that may irritate me. He should have said YOUR videos will stream just like YOUTUBE, cuz thats how it is.
Suppose you want to see a movie, you just click on it, wait just a few seconds for it to load, you’ll see the long bar loading below and Voilla !
Everything Just Works.
