The title says “Just because you say things that make people smile”
See that ? that right there is worth all the time, effort, patience, commitment I put to/for my work/my message that I want to spread.
The idea of being rewarded, appreciated or even mentioned is beyond what I could have ever asked for.
Here’s the story (I know you guys love stories) HAH!
The missing angel from up above who graced the front page of p0ach.com , miss Rawan Al-Nafisi, contacted me saying that I was hand picked as one of the people for a project she has in mind. A project that covers those who spread BUT BUT BUT BUT there is a catch !
This is what the message read:
Congratulations you have been chosen to be one of the top 12 young Kuwaiti positive spirits.One of your personal quotes is chosen to be added to our project of inspiring and positive Kuwaiti quotes.
She said, we are going to QUOTE you on something you’v said somewhere, we are going to use that quote in our project, we wont reveal to you what it is. You can only imagine what kind of KOKO thoughts came to me. “What quote ? what did I say ? O lawwd it better be good”
Friday evening, I received the following:
Isint it sweet ? it reminds me of the SMURFS ! My favorite character, AKOOL in particular, cuz he used to create lots of pink cakes/cup cakes HAHA!
Ooo and these taste so good, had a carroty feel to’em.
Certificate of appreciation for “Making A Difference”
Language, fails to express how deeply touched I am. I’ll just leave it at that ok ? quickly ditching emotions.
OK – So – By now you want to know what the quote is right ?
*drum roll – here goes*

Haha, that was actually something I tweeted a while back, obviously, it caught their attention, now my words are printed.
You have no idea how good that feels.

Behind the scenes mess:
- Um edwin and MelaGreen (Women of the house – thats what I call them) brought these gifts to me, and they read “Just because You Say Things That Make People Smile” so Um edwin “Lilly” said, ” You make people smile ? on your computer ? on the internet ? – What about me ? You make me smile alot, everyday you make me smile”
- Mum read the same line too, the look on her face is indescribable. Joy.
- The whole house lit up.
- I stayed in silence for one hour. Its what I do as a sign of appreciation.
