Introduce yourself Mishaal

Mishaal ahmad al jarki  born in 1981, MBA degree, started working as a stock broker in 2005 and got the international stock trader with an honor from kuwait stock exchange, currently working in warba investment as the asset management department manager  and im the owner of two operating business movement logistic company and Divine bakery and in the process of creating something new that evolves around the stock exchange market coming very soon.

Im quiet taken away with anything that revolves around investments and finance, in addition to this i love all kind of water sport, kick boxing, speeeeeeeeeeeeed, fishing and i looooove to travel

Childhood flashes, what were you dreams like ?

from 5 years to 10 i wanted to be a doctor

from 10 to 15 i wanted to be an air force pilot

from 15 to 18 police officer

and from 18 till date, I guess Buffet (Warren Buffet) would be the target.

Its interesting how our dreams change as we grow.

What inspired you to tap into who you are now  ?

Wanting to reach my goals is my inspiration… i have many dreams and goal and every day i wake up in the morning to be a step closer to my goals.. good and bad things inspire me, when i see people who have created something out of them selves im inspired to be like them, and when i see others who basically have no dreams they inspire me to be the opposite. failures that i have struggled with have also inspired me to continue dreaming and fighting for what i want to become.

What differs you from the rest of the competition out there?

Wether it movement or divine, i try to be different and professional in every aspect i can. i always strive to satisfy all my clients and that is why i have a large base of returning clients that are loyal .. as an owner, i love what i do so i do it with passion and any thing done with passion will be done the right way.

Can you please tell us about your business Divine sweets & Movement ?

Divine sweets is a bakery devoted to basboosa, an old dessert that originated in the middle east.. divine basboos is different than the traditional basboosa as it produced in two  small sizes, and stuffed with fruits and deferent flavors. in divine i strive to come up with new sweets that originate from traditional  sweets, so basboosa will not be the only sweet in my menu in the short future. we cater individual orders and we also cater occasion needs.

Movement, is a logistic company that is ready to move and store any item, wether it moving furniture from on location to another or  shipping a car to any location around the word. for example we have just finished the moving of the complete Safat tower from al Dera to Hawally.

If you don’t mind, share with us some of your shocking or controversial moments of your career ?

I don’t think i have anything more than what anyone has faced in the previous years, to me 2008 was one of the most difficult times in my career however both business happened after 2008.. the shock we all faced in the stock market crash has made me think more seriously in taking my career in a deferent path and be more operational or service oriented,, therefore divine and movement were created.

Support, family & friends ?

I had a lot of moral and emotional support from all my family and friends,, and like any other business in kuwait start up is never possible without the support of your family and friends and good word of mouth.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now ?

Inshallah i want to see my career grow like any one else,  and the vision i have for these two business become reality. i want  movement to be one of the leading logistic companies in the gcc and have a large share of the market and similarly Devine in which it become on of the leaders in catering traditional sweets with a twist.
