TASTY: Java Detour Coffee & Tea Bar

A couple of days ago I asked whats inside this building, Al-Soor Tower, If you want to know, you have to click and see for yourselves.

Now before we get into details, i really really really, need to remind you HOW high and out of sync I was when I drank this baby right here, the spot’s signature drink, Black & White Mocha

Alright, since we got that out of the way, lemme just try to pin down the main things you need to know about this joint:

Coffee & Tea: “San Francisco Franchise”

Organic “Ethiopian beans” – Highest quality beans on earth and the most expensive ever. Signature roast – hand picked, never over roasted “technique” or burned. The tea’s top premium quality, Mighty leaf used in high end hotels and spas. Four seasons ?

Preparation and special Kids menu:

They claim being the fastest people to make you coffee. They have a special system to prepare it. A quote that goes “Coffee at speed of life” and the owner told me this “We can serve 100 customers in one hour”.

All Drinks can be blended, iced, or hot. Drinks offered in regular sizes like small, medium and large. Then you have the XL size for the lovely freaks, I attached a pic.

This leads me to XS, the extra small size, KIDS MENU !

Its the cutest thing, it doesn’t even have coffee, I attached a pic of the menu up there.

Atmosphere:

The place is LOVELY. You have to visit to believe it actually exists. BIG, all white, clean and minimal, its like Japan meets apple !

Oh and the place offers free WIFI service, a smoking free environment, ELECTRICITY PLUGS EVERYWHERE and FOUR seating sets, I mean, four different kinds of chairs and tables, so if you want a stiff chair, a mellow sofa, a medium-well meeting table, they got it.

Recommendation: Since its the weekend and I know all you freaky freaks/clean neats/”but I want to have a good time” KOKOs are out for a fun time, I suggest you check the branch over at Al-Bida, next to Melenzane, cuz the location is great, its new, has lots of outlets around it, PLUS its nice to finally read a tweet that you are in a new LOCATION, now that, is HIP, HAH!
