The Cookie Bag: Mini Trifles & Truffles

I made a post back in June 2009, about the cookie bag’s Cookie trifle, I fell in love with it, so did most of you guys.

In my previous post, the plastic box was HUGE, I remember how my sister kept saying, if only they could make it smaller.

They did, me, my mouth, tongue and tummy loved it so did the whole house.

Mini Trifles

This creation must be served cold. Leave it in the fridge, not the freezer, treat it like Yogurt if you like, yes ?

So what were the flavors ?

- Raspberry. A bit heavy for those of you who like it a bit creamy light.

- Mango.

- Kanafa/Kunafa.

- Chocolate.

What’s it like ?

Just like I said like last time, lemme quote ME, HAH!

“I blended the spoon through it, had different layers of thick, thin & soft clusters. In that pool of blissful fantasies, I came across an oh so profound un-identified cluster for a mere man. A multilevel of chocolate, cream, cookie chips & brownies. My first spoon was just simply delightful.

Not heavy at all, yet yummy to the fullest. Indulge. Just dip in, smile and have another spoon”

This is exactly how I felt this time, however, this time, the size is way smaller with more and more flavors.

Favorites

I loved them all. All but maybe my least fav was the raspberry mix, maybe because I like it a bit lighter, my brother loved it though, so you know, to all his own.

Truffles

This mini mix is nice too, its too small you may want to have it with coffee or tea on the side.

However, this is dangerous if you leave it by the TV. You will slowly but surely consume it.

My girl, ilsul6ana, made a post about it too.

dear boach, I want you to use your considerable ability to sway people en masse to your every whim and desire and convince any future kuwaiti entrepreneurs(lol) to not, I repeat, not import any more Western/Non-Arab business ideas into Kuwait.

time and time again do we see countless hordes starting up business doomed to failure from the very beginning due to ill-conceived ideas that a french dessert or a shop full of ‘what kim kardashian would wear’ items will do well here.

putting aside the potential profits one could make, I want to talk about us and by us I mean the Arab people, a fledgling race once destined for many things but who now have succumbed to centuries of stagnation, resulting into what we see today, living parasites in the sense that we live off the West in every aspect from our protection to our technology and even for the basics of human survival AKA food/water and offer nothing but the liquefied remains of ancient lizards and trees.

If the Arab world ceased to exist as of today, would the world even notice? No, they would make do without the oil (thanks to the emergence of various new bio-fuels and technologies aimed at ending our usage of oil. (In before BUT IS IT ECONOMICAL, I believe we’ve achieved such a stage but oil companies are bribing the peons left and right to stay quiet)

We have to look at countries like China or Brazil, both of which are self sufficient countries to the extent that they could provide for their peoples even if the West decided to boycott them for whatever reasons.

Are we using our considerable wealth and investing in the future of our countries/regions? Hah, no, we’re simply looking into our immediate futures and not beyond that AKA 10 years at the most and other than oil ventures, we simply invest in real estate and banking, nothing on the technological side.

bla bla bla, bottom line, the least we could do is retain our heritage when it comes to the non necessities such as baked goods and other things.

Look at the P2BK carnival, I mean what an abysmal joke that thing is, not a single unique idea or idea worthy of interest, it’s simply a show and tell booth that lets mothers boast about their children in their daily chicken-coop chit chats.

Summary/TLDR: stick to your roots, start looking into your history and getting ideas from there. Stop looking to the west for innovation, you simply empower them. We were innovators when it came to foods/desserts, look up the history of ice-cream for example. Stop thinking because you studied in Landan or Boosten and that your fancy bachelor’s degree (which is the new high school diploma now. (lol art history degree) will automatically dump an idea into your head which will make your business venture an automatic success.
