I saw my 11 years old sister stuck to the TV that day, asked her what she was watching since all I heard is noise. She answers me with such passion that she is watching a play called “ MADEENAT AL THALAM”. The play was one of the garbage shown every Eid to our precious children. Starred by Shojoun, Mahmoud Bu Shihry, Haya Abdulsalam and Fatema Al Saffi. All the ensemble was picked from successful Ramadan shows, They know youngsters love these quirky artists, so why don’t they stick them in one place and give them a shitty script , throw on some ugly tunes, let them do some silly moves “ oh lets call that dancing “ and call the whole mess a “ play”.
My mom said that Dalal – my little sister – bought the DVD and had watched the so called play more than 18 times till now. I couldn’t even watch 10 minutes of it! Total crap.
Felt so bad for this generation, the young minds that have no solid base to build an artistic base upon! They have no resources and no reference what so ever ! everything that is coming their way is total BS.
Yearning to the time where Huda Hussain with her performances touches something so deep in our hearts. Abdulatif Al Banay writes us lyrics like no other, makes us memorize the songs for so long till we grow up and sing them as lullabies to our own children. Those people put us – as children – right in front their eyes while writing, composing and acting, They want to build us, give us an importance generated from our respect to our selves. I don’t think they thought about money as the main motivator. Unlike the producers of today, day dreaming, seeing Dinar sign instead of the anxious young audience that are OUR CHILDREN.
This trash is coming back every year because of us. We are the only one to blame. Parents take their children to whatever called play! These people are making money selling us fouls art! These people contributing heavily in our children’s vision and understanding to creativity! They are setting such a pathetic tone to their expectations. Our children will never know what is good because they never see the good, the amazing, the woooooooow. They will start settling and in the end, they will just creatively die!
Please people .. please please please .. Boycott all the trashy plays and shows, don’t take your children to anything less than what we used to have. If we do so, producers will put more effort .. more money and more integrity to our children’s art.
i’m tired of guys treating women like they have no brain! i have a brain! and i know how to use it.. if they don’t like it! get the f away from me.. i owe them nothing – they owe me nothing..

Well its my first time doing this .. so here it goes .. I don’t usually talk about this to any 1 .. I hope i feel better once i get it off my chest .. !!
I wake up everyday with a FEAR thats been haunting me all theses years .. I usually cry just remembering IT .. If it happens i would literally die i’ll become lifeless .. I’l never be the same .. I’ll never be ME .. The fear of loosing my mother .. Im not afraid of death .. Im just afraid that one day i’ll have to wake up to a world she wont be in it Anymore I HOPE THAT DAY NEVER COMES.. im tired of being one of the non-existing. im here, look at me, notice me, see me. say hi. dont say hi. smile. dont smile. im not begging. im wishing. hoping. im not desperate. im never desperate. i dont beg. im just asking. its not everyone. its not 3, 2, or 5. its just you. only you. im alive. im loud. im well and proud. im seen by all, all but you. everyday, im dressed up as a crystal clear glass wall. halloween, everyday and everywhere. everywhere you’re at i mean. i wasnt like this. but i believe in fate, in destiny, in signs and omens and all. i believe there is a reason why we see who we see. we go to the same places, know the same people, sit in the same room sometimes too. we might even be a few feet apart too, all you have to do is look in the right direction, and dont look through the wall, look at it. maybe then, the curse shall be lifted, maybe then, halloween would go back to being once a year. until that day comes, im content with my costume, im fine being on this road, im ok. but when that day comes, ill be more than fine, more than ok, ill be surprised, ill be happier (im happy now), ill be all sugar and spice and everything nice. that day will be the cherry on top of one scrumptious cake.
Ahh, I have so much to say.
Firstly, I wish people would mind their own business. Like please, they’re more caught up with other people’s issues instead of their own, huh?!
I wanna pursue what I have in mind… though can’t get around to doing so; numerous reasons.
Ummm. I like people that show me that they care. Through messages, a kind gesture, and the like. The world should have more of that.
