Aware-Ness: No Phone Zone

The queen of everything miss Oprah Winfrey, a.k.a, Kobrah – has been working real hard in communicating a message so dear to her, to you and us.

I wont jump into details cuz she ran more than 10 episodes talking about the dangers of holding/calling/texting while driving.

I decided to do it my way.

When I reach home after a long day, I turn my cell off, throw it by our house’s reception where the car keys are. When I wake up, I take it with me to work but I dont turn it ON till i reach the office.

Ever since I did that, I became more and more engaged with the road and people around me. I now enjoy verbal prayer “doa’a/music/podcasts/radio more than I used to.

Distraction was on a high of maybe 80% – I killed that and eventually reach 0%.

For those of you who cant take the phones away from their babies, honeys, lover boys and girls, just make a deal with your dear loved ones to SHUT up till you reach your destination.

You do want to live longer, enjoy life to the fullest don’t you ?
