Journalism has always been a huge interest of mine on so many levels. I think blogging is a micro version of what journalism is.

Today’s guest is one of the most familiar faces on national TV and her popularity is growing by the minute. She has had many transformations, from radio to TV and from a simple “girl next door” look to an extravagant/stylish/full of elegance kuwaiti TV powerhouse.

Do not be fooled by what you see on TV, she may be sweet, trust me, she’s extra sweet in reality, gives advice and very very HUMAN.

I first heard of her from friends and family, they kept telling me that there’s this fresh new voice on the radio, try to catch her show. I did and she left me smiling and in-mind conversations with her as if I knew her long time ago.

I wanted to meet her, fate was kind enough to let me not only meet her but actually be a guest on her show too. I remember we had some candid things to say before the show kicked off. I said “im sorry if im rude but tonight your too beautiful for me to focus” she smiled and said “aww thank you” then she said “Trust me Abdullah, i’d rather go casual, its way more fun” this is the part where I started stuttering crazy words to her and she laughed at me, HAH!

Anyway, wont make you guys wait no longer, she’s gorgeous, sweet, real and raw. She earn’s a p0ach HAWT angel award, no doubt.

Well, im Nouf M. Almudhayan, I have a Bachelors degree in Arts & Sciences. School of communication. Double majored in Print Journalism & Art History. University of Miami. Florida. USA

hmm I’m interested in causes such as fighting human trafficking. it breaks my heart to know that today humans are enslaved & exploited more than any other time..

When I’m not working I enjoy watching foreign and independent films very much. Pedro Almodovar is one of my favorite directors. His movies are a bit odd and mad at times but that’s the beauty of them. I also love reading. Unfortunately I don’t always find the time to read. I recently finished a book on Gandhi and the history of India.

My all time favorite musician would definitely be John Lennon. his music spoke about real issues. and his life was beautifully bizarre. i actually own a collection of his cds and a dvd that contains all his music videos and footage of his life with yoko ono.

Woohoo, im impressed, what was your childhood like ?
When I was little I hated barbies. I never understood how girls play with these things. My favorite toy was Lego I would sit and make Lego shapes for hours.

later on I became an arts & crafts kinda kid. loved drawing n painting, water colors, drawing on glass, clay, clothes and any fabric.

My favorite cartoon was Care Bears. I wanted to live in their world. it was so serene and happy. I also loved the Smurfs. I still do actually! specially the smurf who walks around with a mirror in his hand and a flower behind his ear..he was soo vain!

What inspired you to tap into where you are now ?
I was camera-shy and whenever I saw a TV crew shooting reports down the street I would runaway hiding scared to be caught on cam. until i started working at marina FM. I worked as a producer for a year and 5 months. then one day i decided to take a shot during the casting of a female announcer for the morning show. at first they were surprised because they knew how scared i was before. but then i passed the tests and got the gig and hosted the show for 3 years!

On June of 2009 i got a phone call from alwatan TV. At first i refused the idea of television. but later on the voice inside my head told me to try something new and that was when the journey began!

What differs you from the rest of the competition out there ?
I really don’t know what differs me it’s up to people to say. but i really hope to be different. because i hate everything ordinary

Your support system?
I thank God for the love and support of some friends and family members. and i don’t blame the rest who decided not to stand by me during my career in media. it must have been a shock on them. i know that one day they’ll realize that life is short and that we should all love others the way they are not the way we would like them to be!

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now ?
I don’t know about 5 years from now. but if i would ask for one wish it would be love. its the one emotion that makes life so sweet and beautiful. love makes us sing, dance, laugh and cry. I want love to be there for me tomorrow. I want it 5, 10 & 20 years from now!

I have one more question, share something with us you think others dont know about ?
I have gone through so many extremes in my life. i was a vegetarian once and now i like my steaks medium rare! i used to dress up like a bohemian once and now i wear blazers for my job and Adidas training suits when I’m off.

I was the first one to try roller coasters and the fastest rides and now heights freak me out..last week i was at the avenues and couldn’t look down from the second floor. it was quite disturbing my stomach shrank.

Changes, another reason that makes us cling on to life. you cannot tell whats to become of you. that’s why i never say never cuz you will never know!
