Outstanding Eid at The Scientific Center

The Scientific Center of Kuwait receive a high number of visitors this Eid, the number was much larger than expected and compromised mostly of families. Mr. Mijbil Al Mutawa (Chairman and Managing Director) added that the number of visitors reached almost 30,000 people within the five day weekend. These numbers confirm the importance of The Scientific Center amongst the residents and visitors of Kuwait, for its strategic picturesque location and its educational and entertaining attractions appropriate for all demographics.

The corridors filled with excitement was not only for the sold out IMAX films ( Bugs and T-Rex) and the Aquarium, but for the newest addition to the Discovery Place the traveling exhibit ” Flight”. These 17 interactive exhibits which arrived all the way from Finland are only at the Scientific Center till April 10. They test the visitor’s skill as a pilot and teach them about the physics of flying. Kids can also make their own paper airplanes and test them, or play dress-up in the many costumes available to them.

The IMAX films “Under the Sea”, “Journey to Mecca”, “T-Rex”, “Bugs”, and “Fires of Kuwait” will continue after December 5th.

    yes, believe it or not… many people in kuwait dont want another mall with the same stores, restaurants, and cafes… they want to explore something new while having fun at the same time.

    its really sad to see how Kuwait and Kuwaitis brag about being educated and stuff… when in reality there is not a single decent library in Kuwait. And by decent I dont mean good book collection.. i mean a place where people can sit in, do their work, access internet..etc.

    if you want to do this in kuwait you have to go either to cafe if you happened to work with girls, dewaniya or gahwa if with guys… of course Kuwait University has a library, which closes early, and sometimes its hard for none students to enter. and now with the segregation.. i dont know adult researches how have to do their work off the working hours will be able to get into that place and finish their work.

    انا رحته قبل العيد تقريبا باسبوع وكان الصبح كان في جم مدرسه ياين رحله ..

    بس هدوء كان والزحمه شويه بالممرات وبالمطعم..

    بس وناسه واحلى شي الدسكفري ..
