Since you freaks went crazy over the video quickies we did for you previously and went even crazier for the previous Munch review here and over email forwarding madness with zero credits to us, thank you very much (HAH!), myself and the team over at Munch restaurant thought we should do you a video of their new “Thanks Giving Menu”.

We wanted an intimate small set, little if any lightning, minimal crowd, we got that. We got that for you.

Mr.Nilesh Daas, Munch’s manager, graced us with his presence, as we were talking, we thought of shooting the video right away & you can sense how casual the whole atmosphere was.

The food was beyond amazing. Thats all im saying. Because honestly, lets face it, we are not really used to having these feasts, the big turkey and all that festive atmosphere, we have our own though, this too was amazing.

“Escapade” thats the word that kept jumping into my head whenever we tasted anything from these dishes made with LOVE. I know this sounds funny, but all I could think of was that big round lady who screams “THOMAS !” at Tom from the Tom & Jerry cartoon, cuz she’s southern american HAH! I could tell, and that food was soulful, only women like her could serve me something like this. I LOVED IT, i felt the escapism, my vacation could not have been any better.

The side dishes were beautifully put together, even the scent felt right, the harmony was there and Mr.Nilesh was explaining each dish to us, gushing at the nasty “oh and ah” pregnancy test AWE we were in, im telling you, me and the kids are just nasty but we only get there when something is worth it.

All the dishes were amazing, yet, two dishes grabbed my attention, I wont mention them here cuz they are in the video.

The turkey was strange. It was big, really really big, it was so big I had to take 19 pictures and get three out which I thought are presentable. The turkey was royal. you know what im saying ? its Royal. Luxorious, thats what I kept thinking, its like you’v done something so good, in return you get this piece of big/tender/warm made with love turkey, then you get snapped with the fusion of fruits and herbs on the side.

Everybody had a favorite, you cant blame them, the menu list is too long, you have to go through the video in its entity to know it or the pictures attached, still here is a list of what we had:

Chili chedder cheese mashed potato.
Balsamic shallots mashed potato.
Cranberry sauce.
Corn bread.
Sweet potato gratain with leeks and Italian sausages.
Pasta salad with mixed green Kuwaiti herbs.
Oven dried grapes with pears and arugala salad.
Pink pasta with mushrooms.
Asparagus with truffle oil and pecarino cheese.
Balsamic sauteed portabello, white, and brown mushrooms.
Dried fruit stuffing.
and the Turkey.

Although Mr.Nilesh explained the dishes well, I thought of uploading some pics for yall to enjoy:

The meal felt like a journey, starting with side dishes, a main dish and ofcourse they had to slap you in the face with a big finale. How could there be any thanks giving without a Pumpkin pie ? and Crumbs are serving it ? “LAWWD have mercy one me”

Wanna know how good this is ? it lasted 12 minutes only, not this piece, the whole pie. *SNAP* like there’s no tomorrow.

Now I dont care what size your on, you better grab that phone and get into action immediately, add the WAWO element to your gathering, cuz this menu is like no other.
