I actually think they’re beautiful and innovative. It’s an amalgamation of architecture and fashion, inspired by what seems to be a lobster claw or a ballet pointe shoe. Sleek and at the same time making a statement.
Alexander McQueen is not your average designer. Real thought and effort goes into the creation of his pieces; he’s not like some run-of-the-mill designer who makes the generic crap you see at the mall.
I would love to have a pair of these shoes, because although impractical in our society, they are a work of art. It’s sad that people fail to see that.
