Aware-Ness: A Message From Zaina

Dearest Abdullah,
Since everyone in Kuwait seems to ultimately love your blog, and therefore pay very close attention to what you have to say; On behalf of everyone that wants their voice to be heard, I would truly appreciate it if you publish a post talking about the walkathon that will take place on Saturday, October 24th.
The whole point of walkathon is to make everyone aware that global warming EXISTS and its effect on us has been HUUUGE, resulting in treacherous natural hazards. This event is organized by Muthana Al Bader, a former BBS graduate. The campaign is called 350; 350 as in the amount of carbon dioxide we want to limit, and right now, the amount of CO2 exceeds 400. Wait till you here the shock that literally sent shivers down my spine; Kuwait+UAE+Oman+Qatar+Bahrain+USA+ Alaska are considered the topmost countries in the WORLD to produce CO2 PER PERSON!
We want a world for the upcoming generations. And if we continue to live this detrimental lifestyle, then trust me; Earth will no longer exist, and humans will no longer subsist. I know most people think that “I’m only one person, how can one person possibly harm the entire planet?!” But see, if you really think through it, you will discover that there are many people (by many I mean TRILLIONS of people) that think the same way as you do, and if you put ALL these people together, you’ll notice that THESE people are what make the difference.
Abdullah, this matter is tremendously important to me and to so many others, so please help spread awareness.
Visit http://www.350.org for more information.
Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerely,
Zaina
