I Understand how grand and luxurious the dress should be, this, however, is way beyond the victorian age and overly pure, if you know what im saying. hmm ?
see that allah esalemk w 5aleek is the famous legend Lacroix and that was the finale to his Haute Couture Fall 09, i would assumedly guess that you do know that only selective designers do HC in Paris .. That up there is the LAST Couture show for Lacroix, which means every single piece of his old HC gowns are now rare and vintage. You may ask why? well financial crisis and administrative issues.

we’ve seen too many extravagant gowns on his couture shows, this was actually done on a simpler level minding he only worked with 12 workers, and couture is everything i mean EVERYTHING has to be done by hand so there you go, not everything you dislike should be ugly

He is brilliant; as a rule a HC designer finishes his collection with a bride gown, Lacroix’s Latin bride looking sooooooooo much like the Virgin.
I do not disagree on that fact.

what I know is that in fashion shows they over do things so you can notice what the designer wants, what is the trend for this seasonm it shouldn’t be worn exactly as you see it. Like john galliano’s shows, it’s horrifying at first but when you look closley, and take out the make up the chunky accessories, it is a peice of art and this is what HC is all about, detail
