Summer Babe: Shark (UPDATED)
My lovely friend, is the L in LOCO and C in crazy. I call him RAMBOO Jr, why ? because his even lovlier father told him that if he ever sees a small-med sized shark he should jump in & swim with’em cuz they wouldent bite ??
They wouldent bite ?? ohh shut UP ! what do you mean they WOULD NOT bite ?? THEY KILL !! Oh and just so you know, WOULD, means that there is a possibility! get that ?? kapeesh ??
Anyway this friend (yes i know your reading with a SMIRK) is a piece of stupidity. We saw a freakin shark and he said “if I jump what would you do ?”
i was like ” you’d do what ?? well go on then, yalla jump and i’ll have your kids if you do that ! so yeah baby, go go ,, go jump , its all good ”
THE FREAK ACTUALLY JUMPED IN !! why ?? why would you do that !?!?! Ofcourse nothing happened and the small shark swam away.
He came back up with the biggest smile/joy in the world, and he simply said ” that felt great !! I feel like a million bucks ! ” he then drank his KDD orange juice & minded his business.
It turns out his father *cough* freak *cough* RAMBOO *cough* FREAAAK told him ( sharks here are harmless, in other words ” yarayeernaa khaKar “
I love your dad. slap him for me hmm ??
Anyway this was my reaction.

Actually, my friend spent a year researching on sharks in many places around the world, like Panama ,New Zealand, Seychelles (I can’t remember where else) and she had to present her findings at a conference in the US. She swam with them, fed them, even built homes for them. So it’s pretty cool what she did and I’m so proud of her.
You should interview her actually, but she’s not in the country at the moment :S

Hahaa;p 3aad ive worked in the scientific center once, and one of the things ive learned is ina its rare for sharks to attack people. w they actually dont like our meat. bas if it does ,its either a) the shark is starving b) its mistakened us for a seal or something.

I swam with sharks in Fiji islands , because the guide told me that Fiji sharks only blink and swim away
. I believed him and did it I was 12 at the time to realize later in the cruise that this guide chest was ripped by a shark . el7emdella I didn’t know about it earlier that day, or I wouldn’t experience it .. As for Kuwait I had the chance to jump with dolphins thinking that they’ll be like the movies and to my shock they attacked me and nearly broke my rip cage I felt sick all week . my brother laughed so hard while I was drowning and dint bother hom self to jump after me . when I asked him why he said ” ma radech ebta6fe7en etha metay hatha yomech if not 7asaf ” and he continued laughing tell we reached the marina .

In general I think that sharks are probably not more dangerous than “crossing the street in the rush hour”. All the storys about shark attacks made them to monsters…sometimes I am asking myself “who are the real monsters”?
I often watched and read reports about sharks and the view about them is so different, it depends on how we manage the situation with them, but -of course- we should take care in any way

I totally understand your friend’s reaction to the shark.
I myself am fascinated with them. I was sort of a shark enthusiast when I was in school. I used to read tons of books and everything.

On a tropical/*relaxing* trip to singapore when I was only 12 years old I dived with sharks too, so many kinds most of them triple my size. they were all over the place. It was exhilarating.
I chose to dive with sharks over Baluga Whales(adorable), for a 12 year old girl thats quite the unusual choice!
Also, few years back I signed up to go on a caged-great white shark dive in South Africa (home to the most dangerous great whites in your photo above.)
I was all set and ready, but the dive was canceled due to the icy cold water and poor weather that day.
I will do it someday!
spiders will make me cry but I’ll dive with a shark any day.
