A dear friend of mine & the family, Maha Al Omaim is a multi talented piece of brilliance. Im so glad that she is the first person covering my “ABDULLAH INTERVIEWS” posts.
This single designer is a total angel, down to earth, very funny & extremely sweet, not to mention that to me, she is the B in Beautiful.

So Maha tell me more about your brand “Fashion Passion” ?
Fashion passion is a label created for girls/women who decide to wear something different than what is available in stores. The clothes are designed and made by fashion passion, under professionals, custom orders are available too.
Since when were you interested in fashion ?
Since I was 16 I was very interested in fashion , and what I really wanted wasn’t available in stores so I started designing clothes for myself and I received a lot of compliments from my cousins, friends and family. This encouraged me to start doing exhibitions. When I felt that I really was able to expand and open my own business, I opened my first store that consisted of my own line. This store is the first, and I wish to expand throughout Kuwait, the middle east, and hopefully worldwide.
Support ?
I gained the support of my family and friends. They pushed me into doing what I believed and I thank them for their support. .
What makes your store different than others?
What makes fashion passion different is that the clothes are really different to whats in stores, we design and sew as per ur request with good finishings and our own final touch. Whatever we sell is unique, we only sell one piece of every design and style.
How did people know about you ?
Actually, It started by word of mouth which is the best way in a country like Kuwait & social networks. Now, the next move is to start putting some ad’s in newspapers and magazines.
Is the university helping you in a way with your business ?
Well, yes it helps me dealing with the financial stuff, actully dealing with the whole business.
Any motivational dips for my p0ach’s readers ?
Don’t ever ask yourself (how do I start?) If you got a thought, even if its a tiny one, don’t hesitate, just get ur step and start with it. When you get started you won’t stop, you have to love what you are doing and work to learn, don’t work for money and always put in mind that you have to write down your goals to walk on a safe well studied path.
