Mother’s Day “Heaven lies beneath the Mothers feet” (UPDATED)
Well, it will be on the 21st of march. so i thought i should post about it a day earlier for those who keep thinking of things to buy for their mom .. & dad.
I do not believe in mother’s day, as cheesy as it may sound, everyday is mother’s day to me. From time to time i buy things here and there, name it, i bought it, aside from being a total servant to them. I say that with pleasure.
But this is different, this day is different, so i thought, let me do something outside of the box, which i truly think would make a big difference, yet im afraid of my parents being addicted to it.
You see, as i was reading, Dr.OZ’s “You Being Beautiful”, which discusses the human body in its entity, hygiene, wellness and over all health. I came across the positive affect of giving a reflexology massage, location ? FEET. And so the first thing that came to my mind was this “Heaven lies beneath the Mothers feet” and thought ” Hey why dont i lay down there, have some candles, have some personal, deep conversations while i massage her feet?”* Why reflexology ? “quote from the book”
- It elevates levels of oxytocin, which are the hormones that make you feel warm and fuzzy.
- It stimulates lymphatic drainage. Massage helps drain waste material out of your system.
- In many parts of the world the foot of a woman is a symbol of fertility.
and so a big YES buzzed in my brain, i couldn’t resist it, so i thought let me go hit “The Body Shop” where they have specific foot massage tools, like lotions, exfoliators, plastic/wood messaging tools, minty, peppermint feel, fresh fragrances to it. Remember “Love is in the details” so focus on how her transition from one treatment to another shifts with care and alot of patience.
Have a look at some of the things I bought for my surprise massage:
Go with this first
You have to use this on dry feet, dont get smart and think you should go wet and funky. Apply this lotion, scrub using your mere hands, use your hands lovingly and focus on the bottom, rigid and harsh areas. Try it with yourself first then go with your loved one.
Ok so when your done, bring a water tub, use warm water, take the lotion out, re-new water and then apply this piece of goodness (below)

While the feet is soaked, you can go and light the candles up “details details” , later on ,, go with excellent salty/peppermint filled formula, use your hand with that, its very strong, keep your face away from it.

Take your time with this, it stimulates brain cells, releases “happy” hormones (HINT – this is where you ask for things – wish granted instantly) when your done with this use either of these two lotions:

(UPDATE) Well i just did the massage session, lets just say that she was overwhelmed. YAAAAAAAAAAAYE !! I FEEL LIKE A 1,000,000 bucks!
*For the crazies who read this, the excerpt does not say massage your mothers feet and you’ll go to heaven. It means that you should do good to your parents, treat them well and be lovingly compassionate. for those with smart comments, leave it to yourselves.
