Fresh From OMAN
Dear readers,
My friend, Faisal, just came from Muscat – Oman, he came with a TAN GLOW ,, A FREAKING TAN GLOW, A COMPLETE TAN ok ? Was i jealous ? no. I just strangled him from his shirt and threw him by the table with the confession light in his eye ,, where did you get it from ?? where ?? WHERE ??!?! .. He said “innocently” well Abdullah, people are now swimming back there, and are in the sea as we speak, the
weather is very hot, you have to throw your clothes away and just run in for a dip. I was/am in total shock ,, !! why didn’t i know this before ? I mean the weather here sucks! not complaining much but the rash, the nasal work we need to go through on a daily basis just to get rid of the sandy atmosphere, need i say more ? NO.
Well its really simple, sand here, sun there.
He stayed at “THE CHEDI” a luxurious hotel/chalet like getaway after the sahara, the mountains where its green and into the sea. He kept on explaining how great the place was, the room, the swimming pool, the breakfast lounge, what he uttered was nice, but when i saw the pics i was gonna punch him in the face, cuz the pics are way better than he described.

what to be jealous off! Tanning will cause you pre-mature wrinkles, ur pretty face ibyet3arfa6 and its not even worth it.. SPF 50, big hat, chill under umberellah and eat a lot of tomatoes (full of antioxidants)!!

Oman is beautiful and the locals are very friendly, i had a lovely time when i went 2 yrs ago, however i wasn’t able to find any reservations at the Chedi but Al-Husn was breath-taking! beautifully located on a cliff and the drive to the hotel was very scenic. Check it out – it’s worth it!
My next trip to oman will be at the Chedi inshalla

this week we swam in kuwait the weather was great!

although my ideal vacation ma feeha heat or tanning but that looks amazing
BTW my boss always choose the Shangri-La in Muscat for business trips so I’m sure it’s the best there since he’s an expert of pampering himself using other ppl’s money
my fav is Al Bustan – a great beach and excellent dining
I just wanted to reply at faisal’s comment up there,
while me choosing between 3/4 resorts I found out that 2 are the best. The Chedi and Shangrila. when i went there and so Shangrila, my opinion, it was so commercial!!!! pictures where much much attractive than in real life!!!!! while the chedi was amazing/breathtaking/reminds me of Bali (bil kotob 6ab3an) ;p
The Chedi was represented by ” The Leading hotels of the world” , a hospitality organization representing more than 450 of the world’s finest hotels, resorts and spas, located in over 80 countries around the world.
*so please dont try to compare anything without knowing the history of it

allaaaay.. i miss 3maaan… If anyone’s going to visit Oman n e time soon I must recommend China Mood in Al- Bustan, probably the best chinese food I have ever had..! and Al-Bustan has gone through a long renovation so it’s definitely worth re-visiting/visiting…!

Yeah, when i was a kid, went to Al-Bustan, it was the BOMB ! aside from its sea side excellence, i can NOT forget the chocolate we had in our room, it was made like the Omani “Khanjar” the taste was rich and deeply exotic. I cant forget it, at all.
