Charbonnel et Walker's Pink Strawberry Truffles
Remember her ? well when this little piece of heaven was born, my mom who is another piece of heaven (3omree walla ) went crazy/ballistic/insane to entertain/please/welcome the guests coming for the big welcoming reception “istiqbal” at the hospital.
I kept on asking her questions like ” mum, why all the hassle ?? why all the insanety ?? ” she said in a worried tone ” Abdullah ?? these women, crossing these distances (notice the word distances), all dressed up, going to saloons, gathering up and coming to us just to congratulate us and all you want me to serve them is tea and coffee ?? ” I laughed hysterically !!! DISTANCES !!! Mom we are in KUWAIT !! Aint no internal flights here! and well the hospital we chose is top notch so please ??
You have to realize that to MOM, everybody is an angel, i do not understand why, but thats how she rolls. Why am i discussing mom ? ok flash that MIB red light, forget everything.
I know im a guy but COME ON! anyway items were countless and from different countries, but one of the items that stood out was these exquisite strawberry yumyum creamy truffles, everybody kept grabbing, smelling, ohh and ahh’s, asking for it again and again and again.
Its hand made excellent finish has a powdery feel to it at first, then it melts, when it does, you’ll do too.

Ya36ee il walda alf 3afya for handling these issues, i seriously don’t know why mom’s go the extra mile! it’s nerve wrecking! but then again it’s kuwait and simplicity doesn’t go a long way. My mom’s the same!

ALLAH i3afeeich, mashkora o ma gasartay. The reason why they go all that way is becuase they feel guilty for not being good enough. I know that for a fact. Its a celebration, i keep telling her that, but to her its like going to court with a good lawyer.
