Astra Lounge

My friends & I decided to hang out somewhere cozy, quite and low profile.  Reason? the diwaniya was occupied, we wanted to laugh out loud, bring our laptops, do our own monkey business, just like any gathering in diwaniya.

So, the first thing that came to my mind was “Living Room” lounge, a friend snapped and said ” living room lounge ?? are you sure ??  if we go there. its gonna be all meets and greets, the way we’ll sit will be supremely bachelors like” he was right.

We finally decided to go to Astra Lounge. I have not been to that place since 2000 or better yet 99 ?? i dont remember.

So the place was nice, cozy, dark and steamy ??  Steamy in which “it” being a dating galore spot. proudly. Still, there was something in the air that was not right. My senses never fail, never ever fail. I waited ,, waited ,, waited ,, and then i smiled.

I saw them, many of the “TV” mess actors came along, the ones you see on “SCOPE TV”, all i could think of is ” what are they gonna do ? how are they going to react ??”. Surprisingly, they were very polite. Probably a new policy to maintain a publicly accepted image.

Leaving that aside, the food was ok. The service was very slow, im being nice here. You can’t blame the poor waiters, i mean the place had only 2 people to serve.

On a positive note, I loved loved  the chairs, never sat in anything like’em. very comfy indeed. The atmosphere was amazing, it helps to ease your brain, laugh and release stress. OHHH another surprising thing i loved was “NOBODY WAS LOOKING AT EACH OTHER” its like a universal language, an understanding to not judge and just be nice in this so called “free xone”.

I am not a big fan of food, tasting that is, cuz im really easy when it comes to food, not picky at all. This will help in reviewing the place excluding food.

I give it a nice 3/5.
